Bandwagon? Britpop didnt exist until Blur released ' Modern Life Is Rubbish ' which is the first Britpop album. Where exactly was the bandwagon there for them to jump on, seeing as it didnt exist until they created it. That is progressive my friend. Want to look at awfully dated music? Just look at Oasis. As Blur changed their sounds they still kept their Blur sound rather than sounding like other artists of similiar styles, unlike Oasis ( a la The Beatles, Stone Roses, Rolling Stones etc )
