I guess it just depends where you live. I live in the real OC in SoCal and my high school had a ton of new cars driven by kids with rich parents. I'm an average teen so I drove an 04 Corolla which I bought =)

ehh, not so much. her dad bought that for her when she was 15. The swifts had money long before Taylor's career started. I think one reason why she is so successful is that she has never been in this for the money, but simply for the love of music.

search taylor swift women's health. in the interview second page last paragraph it says she did buy her car with her music money but it was from songwriting at sony/atv so technically she wasn't an artist yet and everything did stay the same. man they must have paid her a lot. i saw a few more interviews that i can't find that said her first splurge was her car and her biggest splurge was her new tour bus. and i think most if not all her accidents were not her fault
