This was so moving.

I met her just twice, both times at the Lounge.

She made Ernie get up out of bed and come and say Hi to us. (Well it was just 8pm at night - Ernie liked his sleep!).

She seemed to be a switched-on person and played and big part in sustaining Ernie's career and life.

SO much to say and so many emotions. I was honored to march up front. Antoinette was a connection for so much and so many people of all races and creeds and backgrounds. I pray her vision for Claiborne and the lounge continue to grow as a testament to this incredible and unqie New Orleanian. Thank you so much for posting this video!

I'm still in shock- I miss her so much. She was like a mom to me. I got a flat tire, she was there- I needed to talk- she was there- a place to stay... above the lounge I stayed in that apartment. I love you so much Miss Antoinette. I was a Katrina volunteer & ended up staying with her in the lounge, she took me in when I was in danger & my home life was messed up- she had so much faith in me. I'll never let go of that. She's one of a kind. May you rest in peace. With love, Leslie.
