Ooo love pokemon. :) When i played yellow, i would go capture a caterpie, and train it to level 10 so it evolved twice to butterfree and learned confusion. Great way to beat brock.

i remember in the gameboy press B, but i think there's a part where you can run, you can't run from the beginning, i think your mother buy's you a pare of shoes or something like that, after that pressing B will let you run, last time before 10 years or something but i was addicted to it,

i also used to lay harvest moon at that time, hope i won't mess up between the two, they are similar with the way you walk but harvest moon was a little bigger than a peanut ^^

You could have also used butterfree. Once you evolve metapod im pretty sure it learns confusion which is cool. When ever i chose charmander i would use butterfree over beedrill idk why :)
