It was good, but the trumpets embouchure was definitely fluctuating and was not correct posture which sort of made it bad. Articulation could use work. Also, yes, the trumpet part is not slurred. The 3rd movement was great and it's nice to see you guys use correct key signatures :D.

well i do agree with some earlier comments, the second movement could have been better, but i do give props to the horns. Playing horn is a very difficult instrument. Its all about listening to the correct pitches and keeping a good solid tone.
I've recently started playing horn and its not as easy as playing the trumpet; that was a good try from the horns tho! :D

We got an overall excellent and a superior in sighreading. Here where I live my band director says judges are being really tough this year...only like 2 middle school bands actually got superior...many got fair and good. We also have a new band director fresh out of college and there are many 7th graders in my band that don't care at all...I guess a "building year." I'm happy though. Congrats to you!!!!!!!!! We got straight superiors last year. (= You all must be really happy!
This is extremely challenging for the finest of horn players. trust me on that.
