Wow, there's only one problem with this...

YOU CAN'T MERGE 37 WITH 36... The only options are 38 alone, 38 w/ 37, or 36 w/ 60.

So what do you suppose I do now?

nope this just refuzes to work for me im on a canadian wii with 4.2 firmware ,,, ive tried the description box ive installed a bunch of cios's and the game is being ran from a usb stick ... i get to the main menu of the game and soon as i click begin the game it freezes .. im using the usa releasse of the game ,. can soneone help

Not sure about 4.1E but with 4.2E (PAL) hermes is not needed. You can simply use cIOSx rev19 on 249 with 37 as it's base and all works fine. I've even run it with force PAL60 on. Original poster (where i got the idea from, he used neogamma but it works for USB Loader GX too):

hi when youfirst install cio222 it asks what default to load with eg 249 but you have to change that to soft mod 4.2 went to 36 i believe so i was wondering what you used

Ok, no problem, I try to answer as good as I can.

The game is bootable when you burn it on a DVD(I use DVD-R, burn it with ImgBurn @ 2.4x speed)

To apply the patch successfully you will need a non scrubbed release, I am using the Caravan release, give google a chance ;)

Just follow the patching instructions on the MH3 patch site and you will be good to go.

Loaded it up with USB Loader GX but upon hitting the top button, which seems like a new game, the screen goes black and nothing happens. Could it have anything to do with the Hermes cIOS you mentioned? I have no idea what it does.

Yeah, just google hermes cios installer, make sure its the latest version(v4) and install it like I wrote in my description.

I did it with gecko os loader. Load the game from disc with the same settings as you would load it from usb.

You need to use and untouched ISO, Caravan made such a release. You could dump the game for yourself too when you own the original.

The USB Loader is a Homebrew application for the Wii. With it you can play your Wii games via USB HDD without ruining them by actually using the originals. Just copy your original game to HDD and you´re ready to play.

Hi, I can't get this working on USB Loader GX. I have my game settings exactly the same as yours except i think im using an older since some of the options are different. I run it on cIOS 223, im using an NTSC wii and I run with 002# error: anti. The game at first loads fine, but then when it goes to the part where it says CAPCOM, CAPCOM fades, and its SUPPOSED to go into the opening cinematic but then it just stays at a black screen?

It works flawless on PC, just make sure you have the correct ISO, CRC numbers must match(please refer to the patch site) and follow the instructions step by step and you will play MH3 soon in english.
