I love this sort of song- today all the vocalists have to introduce absurd curlicues- supposedly to show their mastery of technique- the result being an emotionless and sterile rendition. This hits the spot.Anyway, I hope Eddie came through in the end- if he didn't he was tone deaf or just plain obstinate!
