A 8 letter password will take approximately 0ms with a device that does 25/6 permutations per second. But if the password is 265 characters long it will take 50,955,671,114,250,072,156,962­,268,275,658,377,807,020,642,8­77,435,085 years with the same device.

@Dixtosa Exactly what I was thinking. If they have any special characters in their password (or numbers or whatever) then this whole process is pointless. I think many people now a days are starting to get the point about passwords and are starting to use at least numbers in them.

yes they have certainly improved on this method since i wrote this tutorial. the weakest link of wpa is not however the CPU, it is the dictionary. It doesnt matter how many keys per second it checks if the dictionary does not contain the password

that may be your firewall, try disabling firewall or add an exeption for 'cmd' and all the files in the air**** folder. What i did was i just disabled firewall, then it worked.

unless you get lucky, WPA cracking could take days or even weeks, months. I've got 700MB dictionary and took 1.5 hours just to test all the passwords starts with "A". If you have a couple of gigs of dictionary file, i'm sure the password is in one of the zillions of combination in there. How long would it take to nailed it? Finding needle in haystack.

Yes, almost all passwords can be cracked, there is no perfect password, but it would take a breach of your dozens or even hundreds of years on an average home computer so U can sleep peacefully :P

This is just waste of time. Most people interested in cracking WPA know this. And you wont find the key by bruteforcing in 5 secods.. Try 5 days... if lucky... You have to find the dictionaries yourself.. Think you find one containing Sanda1975 thats your girlfriends easy password?? Forget it.. You find a Liverpool supporter with password liverpool, you will find it in a couple of hours using the right dictionary. Good Luck

Tbh despite this fellas blurry vids, he shows you newbies how to crack WEP and WPA passwords so you should be thankful, however I must stipulate the WPA crack depends completely on your dictionary. If you don't have the word written in the dictionary when it comes to scan the hash versus the dictionary word, if it isn't present you'll just waste a whole loada time, so if someone uses Upper\lowercase, numbers, and letters in their WPA pass, you may aswell give up, cos you're not gonna crack it.
