I'm not really sure how to express how much I adore this song. It tells it exactly like it is. I think we all have someone we would love to dedicate this to. "How stupid could I be? Well, I am "man", and I know exactly what this song is talking about.
Its a simple depiction of how women seem to always want what they cant have, and when they risk it all to get it, they usually find out how the first "guy in this case", is actually better for their lives overall. i will tell you something. Sarah was disappointed when her single lost to Celine Dion'S My Heart Will Go On at the Grammy awards in 1998 and she presented Celine Dion with the Grammy Award for said song. I like Sarah but Celine beat her. i don't know she was upset or not but she must of expected My Heart Will Go On to win. It was a no-brainer.

she loves this guy but has a husband and doesn't want to ruin the marriage, yes, and the reason why she's calling herself stupid is because she's letting herself be involved with the guy at all. which is why at the end of the video she pushes him away and lets him go out the door, and is sitting there with her husband. sigh, at least that's what i get from the video. and huge kudos to her for staying with the husband!! ;O)

Well, I am "man", and I know exactly what this song is talking about.
Its a simple depiction of how women seem to always want what they cant have, and when they risk it all to get it, they usually find out how the first "guy in this case", is actually better for their lives overall. But as usual, most of them now days are willing to make that sacrifice for false truth and intelligent thought. Its easier to have ignorant lustful intent.
Of coarse Sarah played it from the womans perspective.
