  • blegh.

  • Wow. What a great amp.

  • Nice tones and playing. BTW, what is that red left-handed 335-looking guitar on the wall? Looks nice.

  • @Sikki6six There is 2 335 L/H both Cherry finishes, one has the washed finish the other has the nitro finish. Cheers

  • What pickups are you using in that guitar?

  • @Hieto08 Di-Marzio Paf Pro with the F spacing.......

  • I can see U are a man who like's good taste in amp's -:) is that a silverface twin ? I just sold one of them, getting another tho, realize it was a bad move, they are the holy grail of clean tones

  • @UKToneKing very true, but I will put a personal opion in here........ I am a big fan of the red nob twin you can also see it in the background, this amp gets a bit of a bad rap out there but let me tell you as a clean amp it is wonderful (this amp was the last amp Paul Rivera developed for Fender) like all Rivera amps it's full of pull/push pots and and switching combinations, the red nob twin is a killer. They are also quite cheap appox $800-$1200 AUD Cheers

  • I had the 2x10 combo version of this amp: Beautifully built, great sound and plays nice with effects but needed a fork-lift to pick it up!

  • a tube screamer will help

  • Thanks for that ;)

  • I've had this amp for about 3 years now, one thing I'd say is the clean channel is really clean, hardly any break up. Can anyone recommend any pedals that will produce a bit more breakup / grit sound on the clean channel? Also I really wish this amp had three channels, the gain section is so damn good but I'd love a boost on this section too...

  • @danmel10 Fulltone Fat Boost 2 or Fat Boost 3 or maybe the Xotic RC

    Cheers

  • Crank it man..!!! Dont worry about it.

  • Great overview of a great amp. Nice job!

  • I use this with a Gibson 339, highly recommended. Produces great tone even at low levels. It is sometimes a tad noisy on the dirty channel but that is to be expected with Class A.

  • @aaronmccaffery

what is it class A means? ive only seen it on the new marshall 5-watt.

  • @nikolajhansen15 Class A is the old school way of wiring a tube amp. not very efficient or powerful but good for cool vintage tones.

  • @JurassicPurk

got it. thx for ur answer.

  • cool guitar

  • Im sitting next to that amp now typing this ;-) its so good to be me!!!!!!!!!! All i need now are some dried sultanas :-(

  • nice purple tuning machines >.<

  • Like you need anymore sugar lol ; P

  • I would like to see a demo on the sultanas. Great vid, thanks for sharing :)

  • mmm sultanas
