there's no way that t bird could have a quarter mile speed of 98.94 mph. these cars were high 15s with a trap speed of about 88 to 91 mph.

great movie, brings back many good memories of being a teenager in 1956 and dedicated drag racer in the early 60s when i had a good job & the money. about the title----if it had been titled "drag strip guy" i wouldn't be so quick to view it.

Surprisingly good film considering how awful some of the hot rod movies were, they spent a lot of time with the cars and a lot of the details were correct.

Any other car freaks spot that early (pre 55) two tone customised Corvette with added on tailfins in the parking lot just before the chicken run?

And was that chopped 39/40 with the mismatched trunk the same one that was in the chicken run in Rebel Without a Cause?

No fly wheel and nitro. Bufferring is too slow. Better user controlled editing is required. Black & White is easier on the eyes as colours are sometimes too bright. Reading of the light is a strain and tiring. Good show Anyways.
