Some, if not most, keyboards have a feature that does not allow you to press more than 3 keys simultaneously, maybe that's your problem. It ticked me in WoW for years until I figured it out and bought a gaming keyboard.

Yeah i never learned the hard combos focus on the easy ones like holding space and spamming attack1/2 lol :P I forget how it's played, DMC4 was a lot of fun, it had an automatic mode (mash attack does combos for you).

MUCH BETTER! The extra stuff that comes with it alone probably is much more memory than the normal edition CD itself. I mean the number of special features is outstanding. Costumes, vids, pics, boss fights, its endless. absolutely not worth getting unless you get the special edition kid

Hey, besides resolution, does this game have any improvemente in PC over PS2? By this i mean lighting, filtering, or even better, bump mapping? (I remember games such as Bloodrayne 1, which looked OK on PS2 but INCREDIBLE on PC, since they used all of its potential).

I don't expect it to look like DMC4 now, but...it can always look better.

Well it ran really smooth for me (60+FPS) on max settings with my old PC (Radeon 9800, 2ghz single core, 1GB RAM).

I've never seen the PS2 version close up.

I'd say it's just as good if not slightly better, but I doubt they did much else to it. There's a turbo mode, that allows more enemies (since it's scaled back on PS2 due to limitations).

I have a serious problem running the game. There are few serial codes along with the game before installation. I used these codes before that. After the installation, this was told to copy the files from the crack. After I access the game, this message appears:

DMC3SE.EXE has a problem so it has to be closed. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Send 'Don't Send'.

If you know this, can you help me? What kind of serial code is needed?

You should go to read me file, it should provide instructions. I had a similar problem with RE4, it turns out it wasn't working because I did not have the latest version of Direct X. I entered the serial code on my copy of RE4, but because I did not have the latest Direct X it still crashed. Before you try anything though, go to program files, then go to Capcom, and then look for any read me files, it should tell you how to fix the bug. See this is why I like consoles better than PC games.

Hey does anybody have this problem? every time I start Devil May Cry 3 it starts on a windows and I can't maximize, until I get to the menu screen and then I press Alt+Enter and it goes full screen but it shows my mouse cursor which never disappears from the screen, this happens every time I start the game!

All you have to do is go to the game options, and go to the game pad controls, and set them to how you want them

I have the same problem with a logitech gamepad I bought, for some stupid reason the controls always get reversed, and inexplicably, loading Path of Neo will fix gamepad bugs (I'm serious). If you are having gamepad troubles, just buy path of neo, and load it, believe it or not it will automatically fix gamepad bugs. PC ports are weird dude, frankly, you can only play such ports on ultra hardcore rigs like alien ware or acer laptop or desktops.

the dmc3 se for pc I downloaded has yellow for normal,gold for hard difficulty,it's res can be up to 1152x864 and the game saves I download for it don't work.Have I downloaded a defective pc version I wonder and if so could some1 plz direct me to the correct pc version download site? And also the buttons assigned to the gamepad are wrong(ex when it sais number 3 button on screen the corresponding function is in another number),and when u press l or j it does the other's function...

cool game, easy with a gamepad, hard as hell boos battles, weird punish system (in gold you start in the rebound point whitout the items you used and a gold gem cost you 10k), and one of the worst camera system i ever see, but its a relly adictive hack and slash with a lot of style, but damm some times i wanna crush the f**ing pad!!!!

I get through games quickly so I don't think a gamepad was worth the investment, but I was seriously thinking about one.

It wasn't until I was 2/5 through the game that I learned how to do combos, then I was unstoppable :) Some of the bosses really ticked me off though.
