after 2:27 the near ending - has anyone else heard that being played somewhere else - because i remember it so clearly listening to it as a kid!!!!!???
@josephfiennes14 it's a fairly common chord progression. It's very similar with the piano solo, to the ending of the movie "The Village", right before the end credits begin. You may have heard it there, or somewhere else I'm sure. Personally, I believe it's the best part of the entire track!
@evanpyrz yes i agree too! best part on the track! no i mean like ive heard it on the radio quite a few years back i was just wondering if anyone new a classical piece of music like it :)
I firmly believe that what happened in Nazi Germany could happen to any nation, any people, any time. What happened under Hitler was horrific, heartbreaking, and hard to understand. No doubt not all Germans were true Nazis and it must have taken a lot of courage for Germans to oppose Hitler. I look on Germany as a nation that was hoodwinked by utterly crazy megalomaniacs like Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels etc. I'm not excusing them, however.
one of the best films i have ever saw, stauffenberg was i great man, and the one of most corageous mans of germany, one of the few mans who didnt feared hitler.
his plan was genious, but the change of place and the fact that he used just one of the two explosives screw up the plan
The nazis were not evil, infact the axis killed around 35million civillians during the war. The allies closer to 60million. Not to mention all the crimes commited by the allies that when counted far surpass even the death camps by the Germans.
Look at America today, we have a problem. Illegals, they steal, fill our jails, take our tax money and in general are ruining our country.
If we asked them to leave.. would they? The quickest way is to scare them off.
@80sfanfreak As VERY loyal to the Fuhrer, Iäll tell you what is evil:
Evil is that, Modern Society is becoming a sick place to live - completely reverse to National Socialism - Everybody are accepted, even hippies, gays, ect. "crimes against humanity-bullshit" - who really cares about being Good person, and "humans must take care of each other, no matter whatkind of the certain person is" - that's completely sick and those Good Persons and People are fucking hippies/pussyes!!!
@80sfanfreak AND WITHOUT NO FURTHER QUESTIONS ASKED!!! That's a Fact! I will not reply any conversations about this "human-morality"-bullshit, so EVERYONE except loyals to the Third Reich, can fuck off and die - seriously!
@ColbertNation88 Your exactly right! Killing 6 million people because of their religion is in no way evil today is it?
Dude.. it doesn't matter who did more or who did what, it was still a crime against humanity. In fact, yes the allies did commit these crimes, and people even admit it.
The beginning is boring, i love the ending..♥

The most emotional track in the movie.
It must have been terrible for Stauffenberg to leave, knowing he would not return :(

I highly beleive that this theme should have played at the scene of the execution because
of the flashbacks upon his family and how
he knows he never will see them again.
This was the best theme I beleive in the movie.

Its too bad that most people think the Nazis were evil. Not all of them were that way. I just wish that some people would understand that...

Do you mean''not all germans were evil'' or not all nazis were evil?

When I ask myself that, I look to Wilm Hosenfeld. "You save one life, you save the world." Good question, though, one that makes you think.

@ColbertNation88 what about the 6 million lives the nazis took away and the fact they tried to cover it up. If that's not evil then what is.
