i remember this performance! i was watching this when i was there last year! this was like my favorite omea band there! then grove city, i havent see you guys at all this year, but my school as gone up against lakota east a few times, their show is pretty good, i hope you guys are just as good or better! good luck at states nest week!

Good job though! we played Night in Tunisia last year, it really is such a good song, and its interesting to see how you guys preformed it. I personally like ours better, but thats just cause im bias, and it was my Freshman year show. lol you should look it up, just type in Hilliard Darby Marching Band 2009. i would post the link, but idk how. And again good job!

I'm always amazed that these students can perform like this in marching band on Saturday and then put on an incredible fall concert (with all four concert bands) 2 days later. Great job Monday night!

Dublin Jerome was just as clean, but doesnt have 8 million people. Its difficult for 9 guard to go up against 40 and 105 to go up against 220

@MrDfordan72093 First, let me just tell you that Lakota West is possibly the best band in the state, so your size wouldnt have even made a difference. And you cant even talk. Im from Darby, and the ONLY way Coffman beat us is cause they have double our band size. Yes, we all know that the more people you have, the harder it is to tell if people arnt in step. And lemme tell you, they were off step most the show. Dont use the size- excuse when you have the same problem in your own district.

looked and sounded amazing. the forte piano, cresendo at 8:50 is the sole reason why you won best music, it was the best thing ive ever heard from you guys. i think before and after the company front theres a lot of room for some General Effect type things like ripples, horn flash stuff or whatever. i will deffinatly be at state finals to see this again
