  • Fun to see. Interiors are a lot different from 1968/1969. That was when this was Central Towers and it was brand new. I was the R.A ON 5TH FLOOR (SINGLE ROOM) ACROSS FROM THE ELEVATORS.

  • Janky ass place

  • RICHARDSON TOWERS SUCKS!!!!!

  • My boyfriend is going there currently and he moved out of his dorm like 3 weeks ago because he couldn't take the noise at his end of the hall.....and his roommate was a really loud snorer, ha!

  • your bed is brand new. i lived there in 06 and there was no room underneath beds unless you had raisers.

and quiet? rofl you must be on a hell of a nice floor. i guranfuckingtee that you moved out and were glad you moved out as soon as spring semester was over. i'm sure you enjoyed the 6am fire alarms as well, right?

    oversold. big time.

  • @basics1 I am going into my fourth semester and still love it. Zero fire alarms this past semester. Very few problems. It does depend on who your neighbors are but I have had a pretty good experience. They lately have had problems with heat/air but for the most part its comfortable.

  • I'm jealous! They didn;t have those beds and furniture when I stayed there! (around 2003/2004). Also RT dorm rooms KICK ASS without a roomate!

  • thanks i have been looking all over for a tour how is college life there i am going there next year also how are the sigams there are they wild or more mellow do you think everyone has friends there or is it more like loners plz tell me! thanks

  • Well the large majority of people that go to the U of M are from Memphis. It is definitely an urban commuter school. There are only about 3,500-4,000 students that live on campus. I am from Dickson, TN which is 170 miles East of Memphis. I only knew two other people and my girlfriend when I arrived here. In my situation I have been able to make several great friends. You must put yourself in the position though to make friends. Basically you got to get involved.

  • Now this does not mean you have to join every club you can, just do some things. I myself am a member of the Blue Crew and I actively participate at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). The students here seem to be quite open and nice. It's a large school so you have all types of people. I'm sure you will find your niche quickly. One MUST DO is to go to Frosh Camp. It's an all freshman camp ran by students and it is AWESOME! If you want the perfect start to college you need to go.

  • @reparris29 dude.......shaving cream.if you went to frosh..you will kno what i mean.

  • @thepaesesai Yes that was hilarious!

  • @reparris29 lol!

  • @thepaesesai CRAZY!!!! Loved it!

  • @reparris29 yo are you still on campus? i stay on the female end. i gots to see ya.you are the reason i picked rt in the first place ^^

  • how does the heat and air work in the rooms there?

  • There is a thermostat in the restroom that works for you and your suite mate's dorm. There is also 1 window per room which you can raise to let fresh air in. It stay's pretty comfortable for me.

  • @worknman1978 he's lying. the thermostats are pieces of shit and never work correctly. it's either freezing or burning up. i kept my window open 24/7 because it was so stuffy.

  • this is true but besides that and I was talking about the weekends.

  • It doesn't get crazy?

    Hello, 4 am fire alarms!

  • cool
