She's very Jeff Buckley-esque in her ability to use her voice to emotionally entrance the audience and create a reality....she has a similar mesmerizing quality as he did, in the sense of how she uses her voice as a tool and shapes words and sounds in very pointed and specific ways. F** amazing (although I don't approve of the graphic lyric change! Geesh Lana children are listening!)

@ikthos77 this video was recorded mid-november, so I guess having the f-word in the chorus was more like how it was intended to be. i guess the record company realized at one point how big miss del rey might become and changed that line in the post production. though I like the r-rated version more.

@neonapocalypse Right, I kind of thought about that after writing my comment....makes sense. Although I do think it's shocking to hear it coming from her in such a blase way...she is a paradox of statuesque, girlish poise and brazen, almost violent candor....

HOWEVER, despite not having his level of raw talent, I think Lana has a certain essence, in her performance style, that is akin to his...I think he would like her actually! And I've studied him and his life....
