im not gonna dog on the tundra, but i have a 04 hemi, my dad has a 07 tundra, both 5.7's both 2wd, both quad cab, my truck outpulls and outruns his, easy, but as much as i hate the tundra, it rides damn good, just not my prefrence, the power diff is big, tundras got pep, but the hemis got the balls, ive driven and worked on both trucks but i gotta say im gonna stay a dodge man, my dad even made me drive the tundra for a week but it had nothing on my hemi, damn fine truck tho, rides good, nice

I just have a little Ford Ranger, but it puts up to every little bit of abuse I've put it through with 250,000 miles on the original drivetrain. My neighbor works at a rock quarry, they buy him a new truck and he gets to pick it out. He got a 09 Silverado crewcab with the 6.2L. I got to drive it once and I love the way it drives; you almost forget its a truck... Until you put it to work :) I hate my other friend's Tundra, power doesn't even compare and steering sucks. im not gonna dog on the tundra, but i have a 04 hemi, my dad has a 07 tundra, both 5.7's both 2wd, both quad cab, my truck outpulls and outruns his, easy, but as much as i hate the tundra, it rides damn good, just not my prefrence, the power diff is big, tundras got pep, but the hemis got the balls, ive driven and worked on both trucks but i gotta say im gonna stay a dodge man, my dad even made me drive the tundra for a week but it had nothing on my hemi, damn fine truck tho, rides good, nice

This was an unfair test, but the Ram did not even have the old HEMI..it had the 4.7L and only had 2WD, The Toyota had the 5.7L and 4WD...Tundra does not even add up to the bowl of rice the makers eat three times a day! when I see a broke down Toyota on the side of the road, I stop to let him/her use my cell phone. Then I leave saying, Should have bought a Dodge, Chevy or Ford!

I know right, if that Ram was a "HEMI" ,as Dodge calls it nowadays, you would see the big chrome HEMI emblem on the front fender. From what I hear, the Tundra's 6 speed trans. is shit too. So yea I agree, put the base model Ram in the trash and lets see this little jap toy take on a real truck. The new, so called, 09 "HEMI" makes more power AND torque than the Tundra's 5.7. So does Chevy's 6.2. Toyota won't really be able to compete until they make a HD/Diesel truck, in MY opinion..

I just have a little Ford Ranger, but it puts up to every little bit of abuse I've put it through with 250,000 miles on the original drivetrain. My neighbor works at a rock quarry, they buy him a new truck and he gets to pick it out. He got a 09 Silverado crewcab with the 6.2L. I got to drive it once and I love the way it drives; you almost forget its a truck... Until you put it to work :) I hate my other friend's Tundra, power doesn't even compare and steering sucks. Also crewcab.

Yeah man them little rangers and s10s are little workhorses. They last forever, and there just great trucks. My buddy has an s10 with 275k miles and we have a ranger at my work with almost 200k but its a lil 4 banger. 6.2L must be a beast huh? And i just love chevy trucks i think they ride great, pull great and my new one the mpg is around 12 in the city so not that bad for a 367hp beast. I'm not a fan of toyotas and never drove one. Dont think im missing out tho.. lol

Yea my ranger is just a little 4 banger, but it keeps on going. Truck I had before that was a 4.3L S10 with 200K on it; I used that truck to tow a 15 foot trailer full of junk to the dump all the time. Ranger could probably do it too if I still had the trailer. Yea that 6.2L is a hoss for sure, and you're not missing anything lol. They still got work to do before they can even think about slandering our trucks. I remember when my uncle's Tacoma caught on fire going down the highway 0_0.
