Yes I definitely would prefer him as Figaro but, as with Leporello, a full recording with him as Almaviva would be nice. I have at least one recording with him as Firgaro and probably three with him as Don Giovanni.

Pinza did sing Figaro, not Almaviva. Stabile is missing from this collection, though.

The role of Almaviva appears in his rep, however I have no idea if he was recorded singing this specific part.

I have not found any recordings with him as Almaviva.
Anyway, I think he would prefer Figaro, since it was fitting his voice and matched his personality very well.
