Very entertaining game; terrible defending (and keeping) on many goals. These highlights expose the growing gap between the NSL and the A-League.

@07jacklad Perhaps you're right in saying the NSL was more about the fans. But the A-League will grow and, hopefully, football lovers like you will come to support it. Its standard is far better than many realise. Like I said, this game looked very entertaining, and it had a great crowd. But many A-League games are great, and I say that purely from a football perspective.

@Dagestani just because I think the NSL days are better than now doesnt mean I havent been to the A-League. I have been to every single glory game this year (including celtic) and I am very passionate about the club. I have attended several meetings with glory executives talking about the community and how they can influence a club.

I agree, this was such an epic grand final in Australian history and it has less than 1000 views and yet Geelong versus Penrith gets a million and really goes completely un-noticed by pretty much everyone in the world. I often wonder if all Australia's top footballers played soccer how good we'd actually be? Could we have won a world cup by now? I think we would be a power... maybe as good as Netherlands? It's a pity really.

@thebeno169 equal best, brisbane v central coast was just as good. interestingly both of those finals are probably the two best of any football code's finals in australia and yet people from league and aussie rules ignore them, sad :(
