Games are a fast and easy escape. Something simple like Rock Band or Castlevania to just get my mind off things for a while.

I don't play online multiplayer games too often because my internet isn't that great and I'm met with a lot of lag. Besides, couch-multi is way better any day.

And Indigo Prophecy is awesome. One of my most favorite games. I'm gonna have to play it again sometime.

I have a number of games that I use to escape. Okami I find always gets me in a good mood, and Morrowind which is one of my favourite RPG's of all time naturally falls into this list.

And Arena because nothing says escape like a nostalgia trip, no matter how difficult, and clunky it may be.

Indigo Prophecy is an amazing game, it has all what someone can hope for in a graphic adventure and more! And I think that the people at Quantic Dream will do great things with Heavy Rain(PS3)! But my ultimate escape from reality is the Metal Gear Solid Saga! Can't wait for MGS Peace Walker!!!

I HIGHLY recommend the game The Valkyria Chronicles. It's like a shooter chess. It exciting, cute, strategic, and has incredible hand drawn animation. Not only that, but it's challenging and is actually a really long game. I love when I have to actually work at beating a game, instead of being able to whip through one in a couple days.

I used to play FFXI (the online one) to escape, but I try to steer clear of MMO's now, they're too much of a time sink.

I like the SNES era of games more than alot of these 3D games that focus more on graphics than gameplay. Tried a Wii a week ago for the first time, really enjoyed the concept of it. Might buy one.

I like TF2, but can't play even that for more than an hour w/o getting bored.

Spend alot of my time drawing. Its endlessly entertaining and more more rewarding.

Gaming is totally an escape for me, and as a girl I find it hard sometimes to relate to the characters in games. I know that is the common compliant of female gamers but its true. A classic that I love is Metriod because of a strong female character who is wearing lots of clothes! I also enjoy Portal, Starcraft, Suikoden, and Chrono Trigger to name a few stress reliefs. I have many games I play for that reason the stuff that really takes me away is the older Heroes of Might and Magic PC games. I can generally believe that I'm actually in those worlds when I play them.
