i can nevcr sing in time without my strumming mimmicing the vocal pattern :( so frustrating, can anybody help me, or give me some singing/playing advice? im not sure if everyone had the same problem at once, or whether im just not capable of using both sides of my brain :(

@addicted2guitar90 Everyone has that problem when they start out playing guitar. All I can say is keep practicing, and try more complicated strumming patterns. There are songs where you can't do both but you should be able to do this one with some practice. Don't give up tho! It has nothing to do with your brain hahaha

@RyanSTH94 thanks for that dude. It seems I can accurately sing/play to tears in heaven, and yesterday by the beatles, both fingerpicked, yet I cant even sing to times like these acoustic... on the basis that i have a pick and im strumming :(

im going to spend the next year i think taking it slow and try to be accurate, hopefully your advice works, cheers bud!

there's a D7 chord that is played between the first and second lines in the verses. plus a G7 that gives it that hippie vibe.

It's not like it matters in the big scheme of things, but the second 'Please...' is A minor, not A major or A dominant 7.
