The first part do it without tapping and you should do good, well atleast thats what i do, the first part of the solo without tapping and just move them really fast and i FC the first part.

ive always kinda hated the "solo frets" it just doesnt make sense to me, it just makes the solos less realistic, especially seeing that theres not a single solo that i kno of that is completely tapped and im sure u cant tap the same note in a row. but then again guitar hero/ rockband are nowhere near as real as a real guitar so i dont kno why i bother to post this but whatever

Tapping repeated notes can be done on a real electric. Just push the string down quickly enough and you play the note without having to pick. I've done it--It's not hard.

no i never said it couldnt be done ive also done it but you dont go through the entire solo without strumming especially when its the same note in a row, u have to strum

Some big show-offs will, just for fun. I imagine it'd be fun seeing people stare in awe as you tap an entire solo. You'd be surprised at how easily people are impressed.

Using the rock band guitar when the solo comes you can use the lower 5 fret buttons so you don't have to strum.

yea i would like to see the Kill 'Em All as a downloadable album it has the majority of metallicas best songs but Ride the Lightning remains my favorite.
