i saw that ad a while ago and i thought wut tha? wheres the seats .... 5 years later i forget about the thing 1 and a half years later still nuthing 1 sec later HEY I KNOW THIS (i think)!
@ohamberxx3 Yeah, I remember this too! Never used to understand whyt they were stood up until now lol My mum used to tell me that the one we went on (the ride with seats) was the safe one minny and mikky go on but if your bad they put you on this one (the ad one) lol :)
@ohamberxx3 oh my gosh, me too! I was sitting here and remembered a commercial where the mickey hat was just floating and tried so hard to find this commercial just to make sure if it was either just a memory or a real commercial I had seen as a kid :P
when i first went on it over 10 years ago, you definitely stood up, but i can't remember how the restraints worked, i believe it was over the shoulder and there were two drops, one small one and one major drop, and total darkness the whole time.
Yeah, it was a lot better too, because you didn't go up and down as much as you do now. You dropped about halfway, then you go back up to the top and drop all the way down, that was it.
I remember this ad from when I was little. I was 5 when I rode this ride for the first time and this commercial kept playing in my head over and over the entire time.
U SHOULD DEFINETLY GO ON IT! ITS LIKE ONE OF THE BEST RIDES EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!! and u dont actually stand up. i know, tat got me too the first time i saw it. :) but, u should go on it. its fun. :) and this isnt a ghost ride like the haunted mansion.
its not scary. its a drop tower you sit down on the elevator and it dosen't drop it pulls you up and down so fast as if its really dropping. I went to the one in Disney's California Adventure and it wasn't scary, it was fun and in the first version of the ride in florida, it only included a couple of drops and rises, now a computer randomly pick the drops and rise so you never know when to rise and drop.
I've never seen it...but, I don't live in Florida. kinda funny that they filmed it somewhere in Hollywood, CA and not even on the real ride, it was all a green screen.
there are 4 tower of terrors there's one in florida (which is in this video), there's one in Anaheim, California in Disney's California Adventure, there's one in Disneyland Paris, and there's one in Tokyo Disney Sea.
Good thing they didn't use the cliché screaming noise!

if i went on a elevator and it dropped me that fast i would scream louder then crying baby's.

Did you used to stand up?
HouseOfCoolness 1 year ago
@HouseOfCoolness No, they just did that to show it was an elevator ride. You sit down, and it's much bigger than a normal elevator.
christhenerd8 1 year ago
@christhenerd8 i rode it before its fun
HouseOfCoolness 1 year ago
@mrsstrawberrypie No. It's a drop tower.
AdrenalineAddict610 1 year ago
@AdrenalineAddict610 its not a drop tower either. its a complicated to explain. its like an elevator in a shaft, then cables pull the shaft down
