@Dec1393 I gotta say that all cod games after cod 4 even mw2 are really really messed up and that's why I don't play cod anymore. Except sometimes I play wager matches with my friends and zombies, but the main mp is just rubbish.

@Dec1393 actually since cod4, it's all been the same stuff. since your talking texture packs, mw2 is just cod4 with a hi-res texture pack, except they exaggerated the concept of modern warfare a bit more. mw3 really will be the same shit. say what you want about treyarch, but at least they tried to think out the box a bit with zombies, support, effort in balance, and back-stories and then tried to go off on their own with the series, otherwise they wouldve just reused the mw2 textures for blops.

@Dec1393 I totally agree with you man, I played black ops for the first 4-5 months then started slowing down and stopped playing it. I play it from time to time but not that much anymore. It has been nerfed soo much its not funny. And it is true. WAW is basically cod 1 all over again. Same gameplay and style. Activision are money hungry fuckheads who should go chew on their old crusty dicks and jump in a pool of piranhas...

Activision I greedy as f*ck. They have already been trying to charge additional monthly fees for WOW subscribers despite a stagnant subscription base and almost no new content. Firelands is coming out but cataclysm has been out forever already w little content updates. Went ahead and cancelled. Looking foward to Bioware's starwars mmo.

I honestly think making all the services free would create more of a profit. The features alone would most likely increase sales. Just make the hosted tournaments have a reasonable buy-in. A lot more competitive gamers would probably rather use a site made by the creators of the game than deal with the mess that is Gamebatlles.

We've had the "Elite" service on Halo games for years now, and all for free. This is bullshit. Activision can suck my left nut if they think I'm going near a CoD game again. They build us up every year to buy the same game in a different skin. And all the stuff they make us want ends up being crap.
BF3 is where I'm taking my money.

My point is that they gave us the Elite service on Bungie (.) Net for free for years, and also on CallOfDuty (.) Com for Black Ops. Why start charging us now?!? It is just pure greed. Pre-Orders alone cover the majority of their development costs.

I totally agree with you. Like ANY other company, everything what Activision does is based on making even more profit. It's not a charity project, it's a company. The reason why Activision is so much hated is because they are actually good at it.
That doesn't mean I think Bobby Kotick deserves all the perks he gets. I'm just saying that other companies aren't any different. And they can't possibly make Elite free, since you are going to get big prices by entering competitions.
