  • Hello, is this a good model to use for beginners and in the long run?

I need some advice on picking out a deck, and I'm not much experienced yet but I can't spend more than $400 =p

  • Witch cd player are the best between "staton 314" and the Citronic mpcd-s6

  • @mik3Maycon The 314 is the better player. But, if you're in the market for an affordable CD player you should look at the C.324. That model is still in production.

  • thats so nice

  • Comment removed

  • hello how do you adjust the setup for jog wheel for the sensitivity i want to make it less sensitivity

  • inpossible

  • @base773 hold down the pitch lock button and turn the knob at the top on the right side of the display mate.

  • YEs much better

  • hey guys, i have another dobt about the stanton...how adjustable are the loops? can u move the loops slightly? with some kind of +/- button....to move the loop without having to jump beats...thanks!

  • wats the lowest price i can get 1 stanton c.314 on the web?plz write back give info or website

  • I got 3 of mine for 200 each on ebay

  • what are c314's like?

  • Reeall nice i like them I Got mine For 600 For the pair not brand new tho 2 week old!

  • Just fell asleep with that voice. But very good tutorial!

  • I prefer a CDJ 1000 mk3 or SL DZ 1200

  • check prices :D

  • yo man it doesm't matter if u use vinyl,cd's mp3's a ipod,or a laptop. long as u move the crowd keep rocking what u doing man and get that money.

  • Anyone know where I can get this, and how much it costs?

  • guitar center...about 350$ each

  • do u guys know if they work with coded cd's aswell as the 313.. ??? that be crazy if u could use coded cd's and and a laptop with this...

  • yeah u can!

  • yeha i got these and i use them with serato system

  • by the way if your going to run a serato system I would sugguest you get the 304. The only difference in the 304 and the 314 is the price and 1 effect and the fact that 314 can play mp3 but if you use serato your only going to use the serato disc anyway. and the effect won't work with serato only the reverse

  • I absolutely love everything about Stanton. They are both the Apple and Dell of the DJ world. The C.314 is Stanton at its best. But I'll agree that they often compromise on their mixers. The only reason I use Stanton's mixers is for the EQ kills; you rarely ever see EQ kills on affordable mixers and I use those like disposable cameras. Get an Numark Axis and wallow in the suckyness and horrible customer service. Trust me, Numarks can not even compare, let alone rival, Stantons!

  • love the cd-player's (C.314) hate the stanton mixer i bought with it.(m.303) those PFL-buttons just keep jumping off...

  • u couldnt be more right vancitydj, if ur manipulating the music physically using jog wheels, vinyl etc, beatmatching and mixing it urself, it sounds good and ur not gettin a fukin computer to do it 4 u, then hu givs a shit wat ur usin, i jus wish those vinyl die-hards would see that technology is movin on...

  • Ive got two CDJs from Numark but this seems so much bettter. Ive been thinking about switching to vinyl cause it just seems more authentic. But with this IM just not sure. How Close is this to vinyl. Buying the FX this thing comes with alone for a turntable would cost more than one of these stantons. For Example: Korg Kaoss Filter/sampler $400

  • man these decks are have very similar effects from the citronic mpcd-s6. the mpcd-s6 has a little more effects and more responive. stanton is alright but i've played on they still prefer citronic. stanton has mainly copied citronic for its componants and pioneer for its looks! i noe these things cos i work im a dj store and noe wats good and wats shit..... cheers

  • Who cares what you think. It's all about the music. If the people love the music, and you love the music, and you bring it to them in a different format, who cares? It's all about the music, not the means.

  • Vinyl, CD, it doesn't matter. Good music is good music, and a good dj is a good dj. You want your vinyl? Give'er, but if you label anyone as shit dj becuase they spin cd's, you should get the hell out of the scene. It's digital haters like you who have forgotten what dj'ing is all about.

  • If u a mobil wedding dj then use cds like they been but if u a club dj or rave dj its a dif story

  • Im a club/rave/party dj. I have two c.314's, i buy every track I play, and I have never used a BPM counter in my life. I do it all by ear, and I find the key (on a piano) of every track I play. If somehow you can actually show me you are a "better dj" than I, by using music printed on a different type of plastic, be my guest. Otherwise, please, do us all a favour, and stop talking.

  • good call vancity, im in the same boat as you, as long as ur not on a computer and the music is good and everyone is having fun its all good

  • Look Vancitydj, this is not a showoff exibition! This is a tutotial for learning how to use this tool! Talking is neccesary! Now if you wanna tell everybody "oh, i'm the best, i can do this i can do that, i'm better than you etc." through your comments, then that's not my problem but if you want somebody to show you how good he is and "not speak" then DON'T WATCH TUTORIALS/DEMOS!

  • J Dilla- Runnin...good song man!

  • hi five. i love you guys.

  • ya man djing is only about beatmatching with vinyl. who cares about how much fun the crowd is having and how well the tracks are actually mixed? The format in which the music is played is the only important factor in djing. Screw progress. Who needs it?

  • buy music at beatport

  • cool. where can i get a set and how much do they cost?

  • fuck just shut up damnt....why are yall comparing this shit to pioneer cdj's, thats hight unfair concedering that the 800 pioneers are almost twice the price, fuck if your rich go ahead and get them, but stop comparing pioneer and denon to stanton cdj's if their not the same price obvisouly their not as good dumbass people need to realize that instead of wasting their time saying how shit they are compared to 800 pioneers

  • Really good tutorial man very clear picture and clear sound helped a lot thanks!

  • I have these decks (and vinyl). The best thing on this is the sample buttons....you can sample beats off 4 different cd's and take the cd out and still keep the sample's using the sample button. The effects are nice as well....as far as scratching? Well to be honest you are not going to do a whole lot of beat juggling with these beacause of the delay on the wheel. If you want to get a nice set of CD decks that are spot on I would suggest the Pioneer's.

  • Humans have been proven to be able to beatmatch. It isn't a big deal. It's sort of a hassle. Why not rid that hassle? The audience one DJ's in front of cares about the quality of the mixing, and the careful track choices, not that the DJ has manually matched the BPM of two different songs.

  • I Hear That Shit,I Got The MKII's

  • I own 1 of these. not that the c.314 is a bad unit. most ppl say it sux bc they think its gonna be like easy as hell and its not. it IS digital afterall. scratching is possible but its a bit hard to get the hang of. the only thing that can be really annoying and piss u off like crazy to get the hang of is the looping/cueing/saveing part. once u learn it all tho, its kick ass for a dek this cheap. i got mine for 400.

  • course i run 4 channels too, so you might as well buy something better like pioneer if ur the same way.

  • IM tHiNkInG Of gEttiNg OnE oF ThEm,

  • Are stanton cdj's better than denon cdj,wb plz,thx

  • I'm getting this in August because it looks like a great startup system for a Novice DJ. I just wanna have it as a hobby. Make a few bucks on the way...nothing too serious. Cuz people r 2 serious :D

  • i was planning to buy the pioneer cdj-200 but it didn't have scratching now im confussed between the vestax cdx-05 and the stanton C.314 damn

  • i used cdj1000s mk2 and a mk3 the scratch on these looks very poor and sounds very tinny. LIAMEGG, what you on about pal, Keep it vinyl, its about the music not what you use fella, MUSIC IS THE ANSWER BRO.

  • nicely said m8...

  • i got some on ebay for $320 a peice, very easy to use, only down side is the scratch, but i never use it.

  • I'd also like to know where? Here in Europe they're 600 euros a piece!

  • i got the exact setup in the video for about 600 very cheap and easy to use

  • 600! WHERE, PS is that american

  • got it off ebay good steal but, You can find them on there cheap you just have to wait for a good deal and grab it when you can

  • dam they look so good for the price but i am put of by the scratch its very poor

  • vinyl is dead

    Digital is

    a) cheaper for 1/10th the cost - shipping

    b) I can get releases instantly

    c) Don't get me wrong I used to spin on technics and I went to these because 100 vinyls is like $1200. 100 mp3s is like $200. Who really fukin cares what you use it's all about the music...and if you think it isn't you have the wrong attitude towards djing.

  • Keep it vinyl

  • why??

  • these 314's are ill

  • Good review. I bought these decks and there pretty solid for what I payed for them ($300) a piece.

  • where did you find these for 300$
