If you knew anything about horses then you would beable to tell that almost all of these so called "Accidents" are the persons riding the horses fault, not the horses, so why start out saying "Horses... the good and the bad" when clearly it should be "Humans.... the good & bad when riding."

I was raised on a 3,000 acre ranch, I have horses of my own, horses never mean to hurt anyone, unless you ask for it, the people in the video clearly was asking for it.

The only reason I checked this vid out was for the song...I love the soundtrack to Moulin Rouge. But I totally don't get the horse stuff. First off, is it just me and my comp, or did you adjust the speed to make the scenes look like a curr (sp? lol)? Have to say that it makes the whole vid look awful. And for a majority of the 'accidents' they're mostly due the person riding the horse...not the horse itself. So the good and the bad you present are often in the riders and their abilities...

6:20 what an idiot, obviously noone has ever told her that you never pull on a horses mouth that hard to make it rear up, and when it does rear up never pull on the reins hold onto the horses neck, pulling the reins only encourages the horse to fall back on you, and when it does that it's not the horses fault. Idiot.

Just so you know, the song is Bolero and it's from the movie Moulin Rouge, but it was composed by Craig Armstrong (who is pretty well known as a composer and is a family friend! =P). I'm sure you can download the song if you look for his works (if you can't get it off the Moulin Rouge soundtrack). ^^

I have this song off Moulin Rouge Vol. 2 Soundtrack - it is my favourite instrumental piece of all time; Craig is an absolute musical genius!!

However I like the movie version more than the one off the soundtrack. It's slightly different.

i've shot horses before. theres no other feeling in the world quite like stopping 900kgs of burger meat dead in its tracks wit 1 bullet right between the eyes. sometimes i try to aggravate it 1st in the hope it will charge at me and i get the chance to play chicken.staring down the barrel of a large rifle is gas. much more fun than actually riding a poxy animal. try it, you'll be hooked.

..its only made to look like you're holding the horse very strongly and tight, its called presentation. we actually hold the horse really softly otherwise it would fight with the rider and the rider would loose control...or thats how i ride anyway

The one at 3:43 or around there is what a horse did to me when I was riding him. He did that buck/jump thing and took off. Surprisingly, I stayed on!! My instructor said it was the rodeo event of the evening and she would never have been able to stay on!!

if u think technically about it, its always the riders fault if a hrose falls, because at the end of the day, horses werent reeeallly born to be ridden were they?! lol so they do an amazing task by just carrying us,let alone jumping adn doing fancy footwork

Most of those reminded me of my many horse accidents. x) Once was when I wasn't so lucky...a horse bolted at a gallop because he didn't see an electric wire and started grazing by it just as I was mounting up. He reared, jumped, and started a galloping rampage across a pasture with me halfway on. I was such a beginner that I fell underneath him. He spooked and bucked; kicked me square in the face. =[ One mistake I'll never make again, LOL.

lmao The one at 1:38-1:50 remindsd me of what happened to my freind at a horse show. Her horse stopped dead canter, opened the gate, and walked out of the ring while they were being judged. Love the horse falling in the snow. And I must say, that's what Barrel Racers get, you keep your heels up, your foot's gonna get caught in that stirrup, and your gonna get knocked in the head by the hooves when you're dragged, and you probably won't be wearing a helmet.
