Pandas can hurt strangers but not their keeppers. They won't allow tourists to pet panda without zoo staff supervision. This keepper might have been passing by that way & give this resting furry panda a back rubbed. Pandas' keeppers r trained to comfort pandas as need by touching them, and/or calmly talk to them (if u watch clips after earthquake u will know more).
oh,that panda must feel comfortable~~~but from the skill of the massage,I don't think that's a visitor,must be a keeper.This panda is big,so he's not as safe as a cub,I think that's why the keeper didn't go in and give him a massafe face to face:)

Not a good idea.
Sure it's cute buy if you watch that other vid of a panda grabbing a tourist's coat through the cage you understand just how powerful they are.
He could lose that arm if the panda's mood swings.
