As much as I love Kerr, You would pick Cousins in his prime over Kerr at his peak... Cousins used to carry West Coast in the early 00's... Kerr just hasnt had that impact as the main midfield man... with the exception of the first game against Sydney ( First game after Judd and Cuz left )
idk if anyone remembers the game against Port i think 98 at port....
he pretty much won the game on his own...

Kerr was made to look good by both Cousins & Judd.

@AnvilOfKrom kerr is a jet, you look at the years cousins judd and goods won their browlows he was 1-4 votes away every year whilst getting suspended round 15-18 each year and was no longer getting votes as he was inelligable, he would have won 3 in a row if it werent for that, im not having a go at you im just saying that needs to be recognised, he had the most amount of votes for those 3 years combined out of the 3 of them. cousins will be remembers as one of the best afl players and leaders.

@AnvilOfKrom That is pretty true, but i feel sorry for kerr, west coast expect him to carry the midfield all on his own, he needs someone to help him, i mean if geelong didn't have bartel, corey, ling, selwood, chapman, enright and wojinski, then ablett would not be dominate either.

Thats a big "what if" call, once you omit 7 of Geelongs premiership players..
Take 7 players of that calibre out of ANY team & see what you have left..
You cant seriously compare Kerr to Ablett on that basis.
Ablett makes the play.
Even when Kerr had the dynamic duo of Judd & Cousins with him he was basically little more than a play assistant.
BTW, who are the Gold Coast & GWS chasing again?

@AnvilOfKrom Well i never heard that ablett would go to gws, but yeah Kerr is nowhere near as good as ablett, all i'm saying is that without support, any midfielder will struggle. Kerr, may not have been elite a few years ago, but he still was a good player, but now with nobody to help him, he isn't.
