Jaaaaaa, Das kenne ich auch noch. Wir haben damals (ca '73-'79) oft AFN gehört ,besonders abends und nachts lief dort die beste MUSIC !

@Inky261 Da gebe ich dir auf jedem Fall Recht. Für mich war ja , bedingt dadurch, das es mit dem Fernsehempfang nicht rosig ausgesehen hat, Radio hören von klein an in. AFN Berlin konnte ich zwar nicht empfangen und habe den immer in Berlin oder am Werbelinsee gehört. Doch ansonsten gab es ne Menge Sender, welche man größten Teils auf Mittel und Kurzwelle gehört hat. In meiner letzten Wohnung , habe ich dann sogar NDR2 auf UKW gehabt.

@Inky261 ja, habe auch sehr viele Wetten, gewonnen, weil es niemand geglaubt hat. Der Empfänger , war ein altes Röhrenradio mit eiem wilden Kneul Kupferdraht als Antenne. Auf MW und KW haben wir vorwiegend RTL, Rias, SFB, Europa Welle Saar, Soldatensender( wegen der Musik) DSF, RTL Flämisches Programm gehört.

AFN Berlin was shut down on July 15th, 1994 at 2pm

in 8 days it´s time to open a bottle and give a salut to AFN Berlin Radio, the crew and to drop some tears - it´s th 15 th Anniversary of the shutdown - I sure do miss "our" AFN
