Nothing wrong with this the ferret had fun ! The water just needs to be deep enough for them to touch bottom. Ferrets like water but like to feel safe and do it on their own. They don't like being dropped into a tub full of water. If you can try to make their bath something they can explore their own and feel safe. Much like this setup.... I mean would you like to be dropped into a water tank or well for a swim?

@STAEDTLERPermanent they are not wild. There is a HUGE difference between the domesticated ferret and wild ferrets. Its like comparing dogs to wolves....Domesticated Ferrets are just as tame as any other house pet. Also you cannot release them into the wild because they would die. They lack the skills to survive in the wild, such as hunting for food. Most likely they would starve or fall prey to other animals in the wild..... Domesticated Ferrets depend 100% on humans.

Adorable! But I have suggestion: That collar around your ferret's neck, don't leave it on him all the time. It's alright to put it on him for a little bit, but I used to have a collar very similar to yours and I kept it on my ferret all the time so I would know where she was (it had a bell) if she got lost in the house.

Turns out, it gave her an AWFUL infection and alot of the hair around her neck was gone and the skin was covered in dry blood. Luckily, she's fine now but if I hadn't found out it could have gotten much worse. Cute guy, don't want him to get hurt =]
