  • The thing that annoys me is that a lot of people who saw Oil City & have become interested in the Feelgoods will come to YouTube & have to wade through crap like this to find the real thing - just hope it doesn't put them off. If it ain't Lee, Wilko, Sparks & the Big Figure (honourable mention to John Mayo) it ain't the Feelgoods. End of.

  • This aint feelgood

  • I am glad I have seen this in the nick of time just in case I accidently went to one of their gigs...phew!!

  • tip top un blues rock puissant et entraînant

  • Este viernes 24 de julio, en el Festival de Blues de Cazorla. Si tienes la oportunidad no te los pierdas.

  • We played support to this Dr Feelgood a few years ago in Norway, nice bunch of blokes, chatty and real friendly except the superstar on vocals who never said a word to us all night, acted like a right tit, no they are not feelgood, just take it as a tribute band. If they ever change the tit on the vocals then get hold of Gary Miller (spelling) he blows this arrogant wanker into the middle of next week

  • Where's the vocals? What a fucking wimpy frontman. They should have packed up when Lee passed away.

  • Never heard of Robert Kane, guess i was dead lucky to see Brilleaux, Big Figure, Wilko, can`t remember the drummer s name, in Cardiff Capital twice, Local band Snatch it Back were their nearest rivals, don`t know if Snatch ever made it. This line up really rock. I`d pay to see them. Keep rocking lads.

  • It's amazes me that Robert Kane is singing with Dr.Feelgood & before that he sang with The Animals, now he's sang in two bands replacing two men with really powerful voices & he has such a weak voice,I wonder what he'll do next, replace Jim Morrison in The Doors?

  • Did you ever see him with the Showbiz Kids in 1978 - they were huge on the pub circuit but they were quite comical (they did the 'Revolver' TV show. Rob Coyle (as he was known then - why change your name?) had a habit of stopping songs halfway through to have a go at the audience!

At one gig he stopped and said 'stop lads, stop - someone's just kicked me in the goolies!'

At another - the same thing - 'Stop lads, stop - the next person that spits at me - I'm gonna kick their...'

    Really laughable.

  • @marfel63 Why, whats happened to Jim Morrison????.....

  • Yeah, but they could have picked a better singer than that tosser from the Showbiz Kids

  • it is not his real name and he has changed it in every band he has been in (apart from Feelgood). He has been known as Robert Coyle, Robert Ford (Well, Well, Well) and Robert Kane (Animals and Feelgood). He was asked to join Feelgoods by Phil and Kevin who played with Lee since 1983.

  • Of course these guys are not the originals. But the main line-up were the last guys to back up Lee Brilleaux, that's why they can still be called Dr Feelgood, and you just have to accept them for what they are - bloody good musicians who know how to rock your socks off !!

I've seen them live, and I was impressed.

  • Dont forget one thing... one of Lee Brilleau's dying wishes was that the band continue... hence what we have today as a tribute to him :-)

  • Yes, it was Lee's wish that the band continues, but I think he would've wanted them to be good. They sound paunchy and dull - this is Dr. Feelgood, the Vegas Elvis years. Sharpen up lads, and get a better singer.

  • Sorry, this is nothing like the real feelgood - i'm talking about wilko/brilleaux, obviously. This just sounds like a covers band.

    * This is just my personal opinion, which I'm entitled to - please don't flame me for holding an opinion ;)

  • yup, no wilko, no brillo, no real thing.

  • hmmm as a dylan fan..and perhaps some1 with a degree of musical taste..i'm wondering what went wrong?? strange...

  • hmmm wrong....and judging from your reply i beg to differ..and as for your taste in 3rd rate 'blues' bands definately..not maybe

  • WTF

  • great song..shame this lot are stompin all over...

  • it *

  • OK, recorded with a small digital photo camera from the fisrt row under the speaker. Anyway, if you do not like clips, what are you doing watching youtube instead attending concerts?

    Respect, mate...

  • hmmm.just saw your comment..I dont need to know about the 'sound' quality..its the playing quality im talking about...m8....and why arent you attending decent gigs..instead recording this nonsense and inflicting it on us...respect where it's due...

  • I am not inflicting anything to anybody. If you do not like it, do not see it, ok? You can choose. As simple as that. I was there, and I enjoyed it. Respect...

  • you uploaded it didnt you?? and your'e damn right i can choose...i can choose to watch decent bands..besides this bollox...using the dr feelggod name...you on the other hand desperately need some musical education....

  • Maybe, but you just need general education, man... End of it.

  • ? - That seems to be an odd thing to say. I tend to agree with karmaman's opinion - this isn't Dr. Feelgood at it's best- that's all.

    * Disclaimer: This is still all my personal opinion. Again, constructive comments please.

  • @karmaman fuckin tit !

  • Great band. Great Song. Crap clip.
