The lift is generated by the swinging motion. There isnt any downword force pushing it up. When it swings the heavy weight is thrown up. If percisely calculated you cant get lift rather than a crazy swinging motion. Its just like swinging a ball tied to a rope.

@FlightSimx97 i'm sorry, but this video uses an old version of phun. I don't have algodoo anymore in my PC to rebuild this entire scene again, but at the time it was avaliable for download. It's not so hard to do it, go ahead and try it yourself: make an arrow controlled wieght inside the heli, just like a pendulum. And of course, make the weight way heavier than the rest of the heli.

The lifting force has been explaind a long time ago in other user videos, theres no secret about that as well

@FlightSimx97 No, y'see the propellers, right? Well look carefully, there is downward forse. The rectangles on the propellers have high air resistance, so they push down and give the heli up lift, the reason why they dont puch the heli back down again is because when they go back up, they cut through the air easily.

No, read the full descrip. He has a ball inside wich he rolls around and that makes it lean one way or the other making it go up. The props do all the hard work

I thought I had an original idea for using a helicopter to drop water and put out a fire....lol

i got the rotor mechanism from a video i saw on 'the best of phun' group

and i added a "weight" inside the helicopter that is moved left and right with the arrow keys, which makes the heli go back/foward =)

but than i found out u can type in the values instead of dragging that slider. that fixes it

to do that just click on the value, type a new one and press Enter.
