@Xziau1 nope, it doesn't run hot. cool. im a lincoln fan. dont get me wonrg, i love caddys but i would before a town car over this. also when i was driving the car i notice that the car burns oil. i dont know why.

@2003LincolnLS Unfortunately, burning oil and blowing head gaskets was part of the failed design of the Northstar engine. I can't help but think there must be a reason why the teksid 4-valve has withstood both of these scenarios much better than its Cadillac counterparts did and you just don't hear about situations like this very often at all with the teksid block. My mechanic friend saw 3 Caddis in one year come through his shop, all with bad headgaskets and leaking oil. Sure looks bad.
well its becuase you dont know how to go fast in those type of cars, there 0-60 its slow but there 60-120 is quicker then you think... if your rolling around at 40 and dump the gas it will spin the front wheels... i know that cuz i have the same exact car!

I am a true Cadillac fan, but I am scared of them. I saw the Check Coolant Level warning in the dash. Does it run hot? I hate the Northstar engine.

I had a Cadillac Northstar. I got the same Check Coolant Level and then it ran hot on me. It had a blown headgasket.
