Heres hoping your Cosmos keeps it's 20b and for some odd reason doesnt get striped out and put into another rotary car. Dont get me wrong i love seeing sa/fb,fc,fd's with a screaming tri-rotor in them,but if they keep taking all the 20b's out of Cosmos then there are taking out the elegance of the Cosmos.

What a beautiful car the interior looks great like it was brand new ,ive owned a 1986 rx7 turbo || and i miss the rotary engine very much, id love to buy your car someday;) The cosmo is a luxurious car indeed id like to try one. Unfortunatly only 2registred comsos has found their way to Norway. lovly car mate!

Yeah...I've heard there are a couple Eunos Cosmos in Norway...Must be quite expensive to import and register an EC there.

Hey im curious... is this version reliable?

Because the FD rx-7 had the same turbo setup and was a piece of shit in terms of reliability as it overheated quickly.

My Cosmo has been very reliable because I bought it and keep it in good condition. The Eunos Cosmo's sequential turbo system is an earlier version of the FD's and is slightly different...Possibly even more complicated and using different turbos but it has proven very reliable for me despite the fact my Cosmo is 14 years old!

Now in terms of all late model Rotary Mazdas...I believe they are very reliable IF you properly maintain them...To be continued ~

The 13B and 20B are high performance engines that need proper care just like ANY high performance piston powered car.

As for overheating...My Cosmo runs quite cool although the 20B does produce a lot of ambient heat in the engine bay.

Thanks for getting it man. I know what you are saying, many people say Rotaries aren't reliable. Not true (only the FD from 1993-96 had problems) and the N/A Rx-7's lasted as long as Civics. I currently bought an rx-8 and I'm loving it. The car is quite reliable and has been problem free ever since I got it. Honestly, anyone who is a rotor head will love the Eunos Cosmo purely for the 20b and the shear awesome interior it has. It's such an advancement for the automotive industry too!

From what I can see, your Eunos Cosmo's a beauty.Shame they only made them for only 5 years. 1st heard about them in the Gran Turismo series and automatically I fell in love with the car.

Yeah...I wish there were more Eunos Cosmos out there but on the other hand it makes them even more special.

Not to mention the almighty 20B sitting under the hood..haha..I want to import one to the states, but when I tried, I couldn't find all the "neccessary" info to satisfy DOT...not to mention, I was broke, lol. As for the touch screen display...The Eunos Cosmo had one back when it was sold new, as an option...When I bought mine...The original owner had already put in an aftermarket headunit which you see in this video.

I've since custom installed an Alpine touch screen navi unit which means I need to make a sequel to this video!

only 2 bad things about this car:

1. it wasnt sold in america

2. it was onlt available with an automatic trans

Interesting perspective...No doubt if it was sold stateside, there would be a lot more aftermarket/club support now...but on the other hand...It wouldn't be as rare/special.

As for the auto trans...Drive one and you'll see that the Eunos Cosmo is a super sweet cruiser and perfectly suited for its auto trannny...That said...A stick-shift would also be equally suited for the Cosmo...Especially with that MEAN 20B!

It's a really nice match for the SX black leather interior...Both the wood and color tones on the steering wheel blend well with interior...

As for the make & model...It's a MOMO wheel but I'm not sure on the model as it was already on the car when I bought it...You might want to check the MOMO site though...See if they still carry it...

nice vid antoine! The only thing that really gives away that it's a 95 is the design of that auto shifter. Most of that interior is very far ahead of it's time.

Yup...Mazda created and used the "ユーノス" brand to sell certain models from 1989-1996. It was positioned as Mazda's "premium brand" at the time.
