I had the privilege of watching that move at 3:20 live (on TV cause i'm not english) at around 3am (i live in singapore), and screaming my lungs out. I miss Bergkamp and the 'old' arsenal. that was an awesome team.
I think van Persie could have become as good as Bergkamp. Im not understating just how good Bergkamp was, but van Persie has remarkable talent, hes just going to pass his peak without playing anywhere near enough football to become great. he's played less than 2 full seasons worth of games in over 6 years at arsenal, but just this season he scored 16 goals in 16 games in all comps. Arsenal were so lucky to have escaped any real injuries to bergkamp, the club would be no-where without him.

I had the privilege of watching that move at 3:20 live (on TV cause i'm not english) at around 3am (i live in singapore), and screaming my lungs out. I miss Bergkamp and the 'old' arsenal. that was an awesome team.

I think van Persie could have become as good as Bergkamp. Im not understating just how good Bergkamp was, but van Persie has remarkable talent, hes just going to pass his peak without playing anywhere near enough football to become great. he's played less than 2 full seasons worth of games in over 6 years at arsenal, but just this season he scored 16 goals in 16 games in all comps. Arsenal were so lucky to have escaped any real injuries to bergkamp, the club would be no-where without him.

I can't believe why Wenger didn't let him play the final in the Champions League Against Barcelona in 2006. Shame on Wenger.
They say because of the red card for Lahm, Wenger could not bring Berkamp on the pitch, but thats just a load of cow shit.

Premier League use to be more than a leaque. It had atmosphere, character, full packed stadiums, best supporters, legendary players and more. I could feel it when I watch the games or when I come to London. But money is dominating the League to much now a days.

Thank you so much for posting this video. I am from Holland and became an Arsenal supporter after the 93 cupfinal against Sheffield Wednesday. Two years later HE arrived at Highbury. Sure, there have been great players, there will be great players. But Bergkamp wasnt a player, Bergkamp combined Art, Ballet, Technique and Pure Football Genius. For me, the best player of all time. Forever remembering him playing for the best team of all time. Arsenal.

Some of the greatest players in the world have got there through Arsenal and these 3 are right at the top of that list.
