  • wonderful tutorial as long as I used Galileo which I had to look for and find. But where can I find the flashlight code? I haven't been able to run the emulator... that's as far as I got. thanks and great job!!

  • i don't understand where you are putting the sdk. how do i get to the projects directory. I've never used eclipse, just jgrasp for little stuff for school. when i open the eclipse folder i have these folders to select from: config, dropins, features, p2 plugings, and readme as well as some html, xml, and the eclipse.app

  • @kevinlyman1 sdk can go into any folder, put it on some new folder on your desktop, and when u open the eclipse folder, click on the eclipse icon and it will run, you should get video tutorial help if you dont know how to do this...this one is actually alot of help and simple

  • @kevinlyman1 sorry, sdk can't just go into any folder, i meant to say that you just have to put it in a folder where you can find it easily, for me, i chose to add new folder onto my desktop, named it android projects, and just moved the sdk into the folder

  • @josy4heaven Even iam facing same problem.Could you tell me how to solve it?

  • Thnaks so much. I've spent half a day trying to set up Eclipse (Helios) with the android SDK and ADT. Turns out the SDK wasn't compatible with Helios so I tried it with Ganymede and voila. Without your tutorial I wouldn't have had the confidence to realise that the problem wasn't anything I did, so this made me realise I needed to try a different version.

  • thank you very much i have done every thing you have done on windows and it work

  • linux is better than mac and windows together

  • @tijs14tijs sure thing, linux is shit compared to BSD

  • @tatoot whaha, I like them both. Linux can hack all wifi without any virtual machine(BT4).. Can BSD do that? And.. BSD has no tux.. ;)

  • @tijs14tijs yeah it can... considering BSD is the closest thing to UNIX,which Linux is heavily derived off of

only problem is BSD is not for noobs lol

  • @tatoot if you have BSD, you may as well make iPhone apps.
