Lovely trick. Our family is quite in love with the bending spoons trick from you guys. Didn't realize there used to be a fork trick. Wonderful illusion... too bad there are so many on YouTube who feel the need to be rude.
Unfortunately this is not 'true' fork bending. Anyone who wants to learn 'impromptu' fork bending just needs to study Richard Osterlind or Banachek's work on this. While this looks good, and I'm sure plays well, I'll stick with the methods taught by the gentlemen I named. For those who own this 'method', which can be purchased at Magic Stores, ENJOY !
Hehe, it's so easy to figure it out. When he said "that's the way to bend the fork". The camera deliberately focus on his face giving him some time to switch the pre-broken fork with an already bent fork.. I'm sorry for revealing..
Why the position of his hand is changing is because the pressure. Cause this magic trick works like this. You first bend the fork so it gets soft. Then you have a person pulling a string(that can't be seen) and because he is holding it tight it get bent ;P SORRY FOR Revealing, cause you all were SOOOO WRONG :3

hahaha i think its a mix of the two. the fork was pre-bent and he holds it at a straight on angle and slowly twists it to make it look like its bending. then at the out of focus he switches to a more bent looking fork. *ahem* sorry for revealing
Nice method, but i prefer the traditional way. The effect should only be used to conclude a traditional routine. Not everytime. Now if you want to know how its done.. do your homework.. and start from the very beginning.
It is not angle! Hahaha. You must all admit that you just don't know how it is done. Learn about magic. Hahaha. I will not tell how its done, just because its so funny to read your "explanations".

The guy off camera to the left makes the switch, you can even see him holding it just before the switch. So lame. Come on, do real illusions and not camera tricks. Criss Angel.

It does look good, but I just can't get into 'this' method. I will stick with Banachek & Osterlind methods, and the 'Optical' methods.

saimon20000000000 4 years ago
I love this effect, as I own one myself. However I've never been satisified with any proper ditch method to pull the switch off.
Lon1324 4 years ago
thats cool, show us how its done
marik100000000000000 4 years ago
it was always bent, the angle at which he holds it to the camera makes it appear straight.
TrayFree 4 years ago
oooooohhh i c now . im gonna try that. its a really cool effect .
marik100000000000000 4 years ago
No.. you don't have it! lol. Make some more research about magic.
azaghiel 4 years ago
I think you're right.
TrayFree 4 years ago
This is untrue... try using a ruler to measure the distance between the two ends of the fork...
You'll see that if the fork was already bent, the distance would be a lot shorter than it was.
