is that a MRK II H I have not been able to find much info on that type of gear but this is what i want on my dragonfly if you have any info i would aprecate it Kodamacarpentry@gmail.com
I don't think any kits are available any more. You could probably buy a low powered dragonfly (DFLY) for about $10,000. I would sell mine for about $30k. Cost to build a dragonfly with a VW engine would probably be around $15k to $20k.
Canard/Tandem wing aircraft use up a lot of runway. They are not STOL. Flying is all about compromise. This Dragonfly can cruse at 180 MPH and get 35 MPG at the same time.
It's been ages since I've seen a Quickie flying. Subaru power is interesting always wondered how a subaru engine would do in the small performance planes?
Thanks for your comment on my dragonfly. However, the Dragonfly is not a type of quickie. They are similar, but different designer, performance, dimensions, and characteristics. Both do well on Subaru power. The quickie is actually faster on the same horsepower, due to its smaller wingspan and wing area.
For a tiny airplane, it sure likes the runway. Probably not a good idea to fly this bad boy on hot days.

Interesting concept, what benefits do the second pair of wings have over the traditional tail/elevator assembly?
