Oscar, my boxer, does that with tennis balls. He pulls the fuzz off them, then chews up the ball bit. Lasts about 2 minutes.

but then again he may just be part husky the two breeds are very closley related one is said to have developed in (duh) siberia but when humans (supposedly) crossed the land bridge to the contanent brought their dogs and two different breeds came about. again this is all theoretical

when I first got my husky she was about a year old and did the exact same thing. she LOVED pulling the stuffing out of her toys!

I would also like to say I think it's great you're fostering. I work at an animal shelter and in the summer our numbers get so high. fostering makes a huge difference. I hope this one finds a great home!

That's perfectly normal. I can't tell you what I've spent on adorable squeaky toys over the years that only lasted a day. Tennis balls don't last long either. LOL!

My husky does this! She finds the seam and takes out the stitching and when she finds the fuzz its all over the house!
