Sexy! (Which I know he feels silly when people say that about him...4give me, kid.) But he's a natural to sing in Spanish, especially since it's his heritage. Wow. Love EVERYthing that comes out of his mouth...spoken and sung!
David is so real with his fans that you'd think you were jamming with him in his garage rather than in a concert hall. He isn't afraid to experiment spontaneously, and when he does it turns out to be something quite special. Most performers wouldn't have the courage. It is amazing to me that he seems so young, naive, and shy in some interviews, yet so powerful, confident, expressive, mature and sexy on stage. It's as if a switch clicks on/off. Love it all!

I was lucky enough to see David perform in Northampton (I'd go see all the shows if I could), and I kept describing to everyone that it is such a relaxed, inviting show, minus all the star ego (which we all know David "doesn't roll that way"), as if David invited you to his basement to jam & have a party. It's you, him and the music. And yes,the spontaneity is a gift, no two shows alike; that is rare among seasoned performers.
I still can't articulate this yet... it's digesting.. he is so insecure...yet reaches deep and finds the courage..and NAILS it... surprising and pleasing even himself.
I love that when he lets the music flow through him, he directs it with his hand - especially when he goes up for a higher note like that last little bit - I swear he should conduct an orchestra.
I love David Archuleta, I'm so proud he's half Latino :)
