It was made to look like the 50's using a kinescope-like technique where, I believe, they film the TV monitor. However Allen did it, it's brilliant, and the actors, all of whom were TV game-show regulars, did brilliant dead-pan delivery. I personally love Robert Q. Lewis's taking a "wild stab in the dark."
