I'm not a doctor, but they seem to need a better system of doing things in motorcycle racing...someone goes down and they don't slow the field, or stop them very fast..
@CourtyardPigeon that part of the track was after a serious high speed section called 130 r . people would already be braking as hard as they could be pretty much . and you cant stop a group of racers that easily . you stop a few , then more come at race pace and rear end them . they are not going to get off in case no red flag . they usually throw up a yellow flag and everyone goes into no passing mode ... 70 percent pace . not easy to communicate without radios ..... like f1 has
I remember watching this race and didn't relies at the time how serious it was!! I don't think anybody did... Kato was one of the few riders that Rossi genuinely feared such a shame
Would've thought they would have learnt from this and made more space, Suzuka is a dangerous track, not safe enough for motorcycle sport on any level, let alone formula one, who are a couple or metres away from the wall Kato died on going at 200+ mph
Atishraja your a fucking whore y wood u say something like that I mean people give there lives up in the war and u think ur betta at staying alive well these guys risk there lives to help u survive and anyone who dies in a sport is payed as a legend coz that's what they were
@atishraja Oh yes, I can most certainly do, because people like Shoya, Daijiro and Marco lived more in 5 minutes in a MotoGP race than you have all your life, so trust me they are better a living than you are, they are legends, heroes, and while I have the utmost respect for the troops, I think what these guys do is much more inspiring than to murder for a living...
@atishraja Guys like Daijiro, Valentino or Jorge are heroic to me and a lot of people because they are the best at what they do, they put their lives on the line everytime they swing a leg over their bikes, just the same as any biker in the world, they are heroic because they race, they win, they lose, they fall, they crash, they get up, dust themselves off, swing a leg over their bikes again and do it all over again, would you do that as many times as they have? Clearly not...
@atishraja you prob have not even been over 150 mph . let alone 200 mph. you just sit in your home smacking your bologna . you dont live . people dont know who you are or ever will . these people are legends . you are a tosser ..
why odes it seem that those marshals or medics or what ever, they dont folow the procedures when they move the injured drivers :S You dont pick injured as a ragdolls,no one holds his head and they pick him up like they know he is dead ...
@GreatSwitch We'll have to deal with the fact that these crashes, like Marco's this year are more on the mystery side of things, be it that we will never know the full story, since Daijiro and Marco aren't here to tell us and Video analyzing can only do so much, it's a shame he's no longer with us, dwelling over it is pointless...
i cant beleave they moved him like that onto a stretcher, whem someone is down like that, you never move them, u need to find the problem 1st, the fit neckbrace ectect, so glad racing stewards now have changed for the better.
@jkty776 actually, a few weeks ago, Simonchelli fell of the stretcher he was taken on to an ambulance, because a marshall stepped wrong and fell down...
@456daking Well done, I have seen two hate comments from you on two separate videos of this accident. Don't you feel feel special to not only hate comment once, but to then click on another video and do it again...
@456daking Making this about race is what`s pathetic.i`d like to see YOU have a go on one of these bikes, little youtube hero. You `ll probably die horrobly which in my opinion is not such a bad thing,Asshat.
@sdry i think you just accepted the challenge of riding one of them motorbikes, i would like to see you NOT fall off it or crash whilst travelling at tremendous speeds. try doing alittle bit of research about the crash before you make a comment, not alot of people like driving themselves into a wall. i pity you and your stupidity deeply
guardatelo li a terra senza vita...povero ragazzo...non ne vale la pena per una corsa in moto perdere la propria vita...riposa in pace Daijiro...spero che ora tu possa parlare con Sic.Pace
situations like this shows to us all that this sport is extremly dangerous and this people are still fighting with death unfortunetly sometimes death wins.. :( [*]
@SteveWard3928 No. The riders could implement it in the helmet, but no one seems to want it. It probably would confuse them too much having to turn and balance a bike and at the same time getting input to their ears, which are kinda important for balancing. Just a guess, though.
@SteveWard3928 No, there aren't any radio communications with the riders. Messages are relayed to the riders through a system of colored flags, hand gestures, and pit boards. The yellow flag tells racers to slow down and be cautious.
