The fences and walls were agreed to by both Occupy Eugene, the City Council and the Eugene Police Dept. They deliniate the barrier that IS the camp and is NOT the camp. That's it.

As to the rest of this news "story", as a former journalist, this guy had his story written before he ever went into the camp. Please note that the people he should have been talking to in this article, "the communications committee", are the ones he left "OUT" of his video.

I supported a tent city in protest in Ohio in '77 and dropped out of Kent State to "vote with my feet." The Rust Belt was rusting, so I left the region and took a servant job in another part of the country. It was a lifesaver. Eventually got work in a shoe store, began adult life. Sad memories, but I had nothing going for me.
