I don't know why everyone is complaining about this video so much. I personally liked the music, and could hear the head fine. From what I can hear, it sounds pretty damn amazing.

i thought the ambassador x were garbage, this is far worse. You might as well go with a coated emperor or stick to a regular ambassador / controlled sound
@JCordoba1001 Garbage? That makes no sense. The ambassador X is a great head. It's between the ambassador and the emperor. This is also a great head. It's just an ambassador that's been made as thick as the emperor. You're getting the durability of the emperor, but with the sound characteristics of the ambassador. Besides, I'm sure that you simply saw both of these heads and said "that's stupid". How do you know that these heads won't give you your sound? You gotta try 'em
@XxStrongDrums1996xX i tried it on my pearl reference wood snare and it sucked. It felt like tight cardboard on a drum with no tone, just ring. If this x14 is thicker, it will probably be worse than the ambassador x. i never tried the ambassaor x on my toms nor do I want to. I'm a remo player all the way though.
@JCordoba1001 It had to have been in the tuning man. I've heard several snares with the ambassador X head and they all sounded amazing. I will admit that the traditional ambassadors and emperors work best though. I'm a coated CS guy for life. I'm definitely giving the new clear vintage emperors a go on the toms though.
@XxStrongDrums1996xX I've tuned my ref snare with the coated cs with no problem. the ambassador x just isn't for me I guess. The vintage emperors are great heads though, even though i prefer the regular emperors.

this guy def isnt a douche by any means..hes a hardworking drummer that plays with true passion..ive met him and hes honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met..he even let me play in front of him and complimented my playing and gave me great advice...great man
Could you put out a version with out the music on top? Like "allmetaliswelcome" said it's kind of hard to hear with the music on top. And is the x14 his snare or toms, or both?
