Announcement to all guitar hero geeks! Run, dont walk. To your local musical instrument store and spend your geek money buying an actual musical instrument. If youre poor, buy a $10 harmonica. If youre rich, buy a nice American Strat. Or, if youre not necessarily poor and not particularly rich purchase a trombone, banjo, trumpet, sax, flute, drum set, or Hindu chime.

Me point is, if your like making music make music. This guitar hero stuff is crap. But you already know THAT. Be REAL!

Real guitar is not more fun if you don't know how to play. And it gets alot more frustrating. This is a game, it's meant to be fun. Your comment is really ignorant.

Honestly your right real guitar is 10000X more rewarding, however many people just want to have some fun and play guitar hero which is very fun. People who just bash these games because they play real guitar are just annoying. We don't care if you play guitar and if I want to play real guitar then I will do that on my own. No one here wants some random guy telling them how their favorite game is shit and they should make something of themselves and play for real.

Leave them alone already, seriously. I have been playing drums for 15 years and would like to think I am pretty damn good at it. I still enjoy playing drums on rock band. If a kid was going to play a REAL guitar or drums, this is not going to stop them, trust me. My nephew is proof. He just bought a guitar a year ago, and he is pretty damn good for a 13 year old. btw, he plays guitar hero to.

If a kid is playing this and NOT learning to play a real guitar, I think it is better than them running around shooting people in Apocalyptic style war games, or shooting aimlessly killing zombies. Hey, instead of shooting people pretending its WW3, why not go and shoot people for real? geez! your logic is scewered.

Why do you think I joined the Army lol...but still this is not about war it's my opinion that the game sucks and it's not gonna change, I'm not here to argue I'm just stating a fact for those who DON'T play an instrument and they'll play the war games regardless...the game sucking is only my own perspective we can't argue over likes and dislikes everybody has a different taste...all I said was it's more productive to play a real instrument if you like it instead or pretending to play one...
