For Sunny Hill's Pray, I don't think the "monster" was freed from the cage and then recaptured, he was released in order to be experimented on. He doesn't realize it and assumes the beautiful girl is his savior. In mirror part, he looks at himself and realizes that he's is different from the beautiful girl and looks very confused by it. Than he starts wanting freedom even though he knew he'll be leaving the girl. He escapes but is betrayed by the girl. It seems that he covets the girl.

They're his first group artist to debut in the kpop industry. That's why he appears in the mv. As for the girl with the pigtails full of bright orange strands of hair, she's none other than the girl who was featured in Teen Top's Supa Luv mv. It all makes sense now, huh? :3 Plus, I feel like the two mv storylines are somehow connected~
