  • the rulin govt hz lost it this time thiz z lack of sence o humour ey shud revise their action pls.

  • Museveni is a ntarahamwe!I hope he dies like a DOG!

  • Uganda needs term limits.

  • They would make Farouk Minawa proud!

  • as long as who you are calling a dictator has people mandate to lead the country you can call him whatever you want the majority of people of uganda apart from besigye and his thugs know what a good and a visionary leader museveni is by the way they are wasting their time i can assure you FDC and other so called opposition parties will never lead uganda Even when museveni will retire any NRM candidate will win and they will be losers forever and NRM will continue to be stronger

  • @lumumbafan if you love m7 so much leave Canada and GO back to uganda

  • these guys are so mean!!!!!!!! i believe they are scared of him other wise thy wudnt treat him the way thy do...

  • This is crazy!

  • in olden days when the sky turned red it was predicted that all was not well for the nation's future, i shudder to even project what this cloud on our horizon predicts for Uganda in the years to come

  • heheehe oh man why all this? Mr President stop all this u r there to defend ur ugs pple but to treat them the way u r doing

  • @nirbija, WHat should Africa do then. If we don't need to set term limits on presidential tenures because it is something given to us by the 'pale devil', what should we do?

You know very well that it is very hard for an African head of state to lose an election. It almost never happens. Aren't people entitled to alternative leadership?

    What then should we do?

  • Government MUST respect rights of its citizens, otherwise at this rate, What has happen to senior citizen Besigye in the open, is an indicator that these abuses have been taking place without being seen and will likely continue to happen.

  • Nirbja, Don't be an Idiot or a sadist. Cant you tell the difference your goons should be named and shamed these are uncivilised people who should be assigned to gutter's Your language seem on the same wave with them

  • Why do countries such as Uganda continue to prove the white man right!?!!!!!!!

WHY DO YOU, MY FELLOW BROTHERS, ACT SO RETARDED????????

  • @88donja FCUK YOUR so-called "white man", who evolved/descended from beasts & who NEVER values 'right & wrong'!

YOU may care about the pale devils, the most evil & destructive creatures in the history of the planet!

    Africans need not!

  • @nirbija You clearly can't read.....

I am black. I am stating how I am disappointed in how these Ugandans are acting. Then again, you probably like this kind of behavior...

  • @88donja If you are really 'black', then try to make your point WITHOUT stating your pigmentation

No one can verify pigmentation across cyberspace

And the pale devils & ENEMIES of Africans, are accustomed to LYING about being 'black' in cyberspace, in order to make Africans appear self-destructive

Now, one can express his disappointment without embarrassing himself, by referring to the worthless judgment of the pale devils, who are LEAST VIRTUOUS on the planet!

    And, Criminals EARN persecution!

  • @nirbija Point taken.

But, in the end, I am simply disappointed that this BS is still taking place in Africa..

  • @88donja "still taking place in Africa"; but never in the rest of the world? lol

The pale devils are historical ENEMIES of Africans.

And it is ONLY the propaganda of such enemies of Africans, that promotes the FALSE IMPRESSION that political behavior is now that much different in Africa than in other places on the planet

While it is true that Besigye's divisive demonstrations are relatively un-African, the destruction of African society by criminal invaders makes such BS NOT unique to Africa!

  • @nirbija I know. But to say that it is taking place in other places around the world doesn't make OK. What, should Africa stoop to that level, too?

  • @88donja Doesn't make it OK; but it does put things in perspective: Maybe Africans aren't as different from others, as the propaganda of the pale devils have caused too many to think/ believe?

After all, haven't the more coherent African indigenous societies been criminally invaded, divided, dispersed, destroyed & DISPLACED with the devilish & divisive-democratic ways of the wicked white man?

Besigye behaves like a crazy, power-addicted criminal

Putting criminals out of business CAN BE MESSY!

Had this law taken hold, Museveni wouldn't have been eligible to run in 2011. He'd be retired just like other dictators like Kamuzu Banda, Daniel Toroitich e.t.c.

What I don't understand is this, why did parliament vote this law down? What if they had refused to vote it down and just let it remain as the law of the land?

Judging from the way things are going, Museveni is basically a life president. He'll only leave State House when he is dead. Until then, more craziness.

  • @SonNative Maybe, just maybe, "parliament vote this law down"; because IT IS the prerogative of parliament to make & UNMAKE laws?

You want to restrict the power & authority of parliament?

Who then decides on laws of the land?

Africans HAVE NO obligation to adopt the wicked ways of criminal invaders

Africans have had SUCCESSFUL systems of governance, long before the pale devils even came to be!

If the evil euro-created crap is fairly stable with Museveni at the helm, THEN LEAVE IT ALONE FOR NOW!

  • Could a Ugandan just explain this to me because I don't get it.

Sometime between 2000 and 2005 or thereabout, Uganda's parliament passed a law that sets a limit on the term that a president should serve to two five years just like in Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, South Africa, my own Kenya e.t.c.

Then, before the 2006 elections, either through manipulation, threats, bribery or all of the above, Museveni impressed upon parliament to delete this law.

  • @drinfothv,

Uganda has a lot of oil. Lots of it! It is to the North.

  • Hahahhaa... The truth is, If the Museveni of 1991 met the Museveni of 2001 till date.. They'd murder each other. The once guy who had vision for the country is now focused on staying in power. I bet he is trying to beat Gadaffi to the finish line.

  • where is our country heading to...this is very sad.

  • where the hell is the rest of the world and obama while this stuff goes on. or is their criticism only for Israel?

  • @drinfothv Uganda has no oil, so don't expect Obama to get involved in the crisis!

  • this is not googd at all we have to get back into our minds.

  • why are we in libya.

  • absolutely brutal

  • sickening police

dicover and share Uganda web content at ugandalogs com

  • Does this country even has a leader? who is the president? what is he doing or saying about the situation in the country???? NO!! he only comes out to take pictures and spend people's money to rig elections.

  • How has my country come to this? I refuse to stand by and do nothing!! M7 and his puppets will not walk over us, Uganda is my country, its our country and they need to treat us as citizens of Uganda. They are Criminals in uniforms, I will not do something like that not even to my worse enemy, now what made them to such a cowardly and cruel thing? I don't know but they pay for it.

  • we are very sad to see a great man of houner to be arrested like a dog this is unfair we can not support museveni no longer. bad man is always leader of african counteris

  • what kind of governance is this for sure I think this guy calling himself museveni must be sucked out of Uganda governance and face the law accordingly.silly action indeed let Ugandan resident wake up and demolish Museveni from the seat

  • @Bwogisean: Its us to do something 4 our selves n for our matherland!! We should join hands n enforce the battle paka last despite ov deaths & tear gas!!

  • The Law was created for a reason...once tunisia and egypt took it to the streets, so did Besigye...... even if he is the opposition leader, he should learn to follow rules, not just break rules because you are the opposition leader. He claims he is fighting for the people but the truth is he wants to get into power so badly.....i wonder wat will happen once he gets there

  • @executioner22za .... wen M7 came to power he was as broke as a church mouse see wat he has done squandering state resources... atleast we have besigye who is willing to die for people like you who cant acknowledge that there is an issue.... i too want to get into power and make them pay

  • @executioner22za .... wen M7 came to power he was as broke as a church mouse see wat he has done squandering state resources... atleast we have besigye who is willing to die for people like you who cant acknowledge that there is an issue.... i too want to get into power and make them pay

  • The whole of africa should be bombed by a nuclear weapon because this video and many like this proves, that the land in which I was born is full of nothing but monkeys. Blinding a political leader is a manifestation of the fact that we as black people should not exist.

  • museveni is a muderer, dictator, human rights abuser.. and he is everything uncool about Uganda. i dont know how "outsider" this may sound but, why havent Ugandans not storm the streets yet, are you guys waiting for Besigye to be shot in the head?!?

  • Could politics become better?

Why does Besigye fail to reason like I am reasoning?

Peaceful demonstration or no demostration at all; since one can look for alternative ways to address heartening issues.

  • @naturinost whether he reasons or not is that how reasonable people treat the unreasonable tell me.....

  • Most of these officials were raised in a very poor background thats why they want to enrich themselves... but trust me this for only a short time u will come to an end too. u are no the first!

  • i just dont have any comment on this because am just fade up! if u dont die on the streets, u die at your home bse of hunger, if not hospital bse there r no drugs since national Medical stores NMS boss reports to the big man - cancers end up killing pple at the cancer institute.. now pple r fighting 4 their rights people like Alinitwe are smashing their cars.. but...

  • I don't know why the international community has not acted so fast on this? Some of us have run out of words!

  • whoever is forcing Museveni to role this country should stop.. otherwise we dnt know whts going on absolutely

  • throwing stones towards police,...........bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! let all fuckers be detained ,

  • @kenlav44 Go rot in hell. Do you see how the police are handling the situation? people wud not throw stones at them if they werent acting the way they are..they shot bullets into a school the other day and a young 16 year old girl mindin her bussines was killed by a stray bullet. The country is gone to shit because of the so called police and you are here defending them you ignorant piece of shit Fuck you.

  • @kenlav44 you have a problem...

  • THESE RWANDENDE INTERAHAMWE MERCENARIES HAVE INVADED OUR COUNTRY. THEY DESTROYED EVERY THING WE VALUED. DESTORYED OUR CULTURE, DESTORYED OUR KINDOMS, SOLD OFF OUR NATIONAL ASSETS, RAIDED OUR TREASAURY. NOW THEY ARE TREATING US INDEGIOUS UGANDANS LIKE DOGS.

THE NAME OF THE ITERAHAMWE WHO TEAR GASED BESIGYE IS GILBERT ARINAITWE. HIS TELEPHONE NUMBER IS 0715063393. CALL HIM AND TELL HIM TO GO BACK TO KIGALI.

  • I have the biggest lump in my throat? why....? He wasn't even walking this time!!!!!

  • @africanchicaful Im the same, I cant contemplate what our country has come to

  • Horrible.

  • we dont need this Museveni. he is a human being just like you and u r both created by God. Dont do this to us/country

  • Oh my God!!!! Museveni is really mental with his SEcurity operatives. I am appalled at those who still support him. God protect Besigye. They might be on a plan to poison him while he is weakened by tear gas! We all know that Museveni has a personal grudge towards Dr. Besigye. Since he comes from the West, Museveni cannot kill him openly for he will not survive a day!

  • And in the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends! I keep recalling this every other day i see this. Freedom is coming tomorrow........

  • The same thing happened in Auschwitz with the Nazi fooling the world. We need to stand up for our rights... It could be any of you treated like that. It won't surprise me if people start disappearing like the AMIN times... Human Rights are being violated we need Europe and America to impose sancations...

  • Uganda hasn't been taken to the dogs, its the dogs that came to Uganda in 1986

  • SHAME ON MUSEVENI!!The time has surely come for him to go. And why is the international community looking on in silence while all this is happening and yet they come out so strongly to defend other instances of governments unleashing brutal force on unarmed civillians.

  • THIS REMINDS ME OF THE AMIN ERA. THERE IS A RE-INCANATION OF AMIN IN MUSEVENI. WHO EVER EXPECTED SOMETHING LIKE THIS FROM MUSEVEN. IREGRET SLL THE YEARS I ADVOCATED FOR HIM AS SAVIOR OF UGANDA. SHAME ON THE NRM GOVERNMENT. ONLY GOD CAN SAVE UGANDA . MUSEVENI IS A GOLIATH IT WILL TAKE A DAVID.

  • suprising the international community is looking on and watching wats going on, but its like as if they are enjoying wats going on in uganda..

  • Thx NTV for courageously exposing this barbaric dictatorship....so sad!

  • I keep wondering why leaders like M7 still exist in this century!!!!

  • what kind of shit is this?? police neda neda.....

  • Ugandans... This is not Egypt but I am okay with it becoming a Somali but it's that way for people dying of poverty while foreign aid money is stole!!!!!!!! STAND UP AND FIGHT... or they will kill you in your homes...

  • Nepotism.... all the way... Some tribes are dying and living in poverty but Museveni's tribe is given all the opportunites plus they steal all our money. Uganda is for Uganda NOT Rwandese... Please

  • I am not surprised at all. All these dictators who are willing to do anything to stay in power. US and all the other donor's of foreign aid..this is what you are paying for...

Either you DIE in the streets or they will kill you in your own homes.

  • To reach a successful destination you need a vehicle assembled with wheels of ideas, the fuel of action, a driver with patience and hard work."we need some one like Besigye who fights for many lives of people around Uganda the arousing miserable situation thats going on to be stopped...we need the by the way.....why shouldn't USA help us and appoint at Museveni......one Uganda one people...." I learnt the greatest are those who fight to reach great heights, courageously facing

  • Wauw that actually made me sick to watch. Power can really corrupt the mind of people..

  • can someone out side Africa provide a helping hand to search a miserable situation thats going on.... Cry Africa....

  • can someone out side Africa provide a helping to search a miserable situation thats going on.... Cry Africa....

  • God help uganda!!!

  • Shame on the state and the agents. This was exactly what happened to Patric Lumumba, of Congo, in the sixties. This man shouldn't be treated like some common criminal. I don't think you are any different from Idi Amin.

  • NRM UR TIME IS UP HOW CAN U DO THIS TO UR OWN PEOPLE

  • What the hell!!!???

  • This is painfully insane

  • Them whom the gods seek to destroy they first make mad! You will surely want to remember these words of Senneca!

  • This is so wrong!

  • m7 is this the freedom you went to the bush to fight for?surely you have lost it .i predict your end is going to be nasty

  • Any Body who touched Besigye Today and Mistreated him like that; May You and All Your children up to grand children suffer a scaled disease to death in remember ace of the evil and jealousy acts commited on this man.

  • someone should do something about the way police handle situations like these, people should be more professional than this. THIS IS JUST SAD !!

  • @bwogisean sean yo right.they practically sprayed teargas like it was air freshener!

  • this shows the true picture of our security men scared of their citizens but the power is in the local pple remember luwero, Tunisia and Egypt. stop Protecting leaders who are drunk with power.

  • Watching this makes me so scared about the future of this country. Thank God I never voted for this crap man called Museveni!! This really Sucks. Saddam once thought that he was untouchable.. Im very sure that wether in this life or the next, these guys will pay for their crimes. For God and My Country.

  • Kenlav44 u need to put on your thinking hat...this guys does not cause chaos. Govt give him audience by arresting him in such a manner yet they are not aware they are increasing his popularity and creating more sympathy. Ugandans are always slow to react but the bubble will soon burst and all we should pray for is we do not descend into chaos because so many factions in the nation are bitter

  • SHIT.

  • Let him be arrested at any moment he tries to forge-out ,,,,, he mobilises people to protest hence causing chaos in the city.........Piga Yeye kama aneleta lugezigezi !!

  • IF A LEADER OF OPPOSITION IS TREATED LIKE THAT WHAT OF A LAY CITIZEN OF UGANDA.....ITS CLEAR MUSEVENI OF 1981 WENT TO BUSH TO FIGHT THE MUSEVENI OF TODAY.....UGANDANS WAKE UP,,ITS TIME TO FIGHT BACK....

  • @Uganda2day Stop insulting ordinary citizens of Uganda, who ARE NOT power-gluttons and who ARE NOT promoting social disorder.

As long as ordinary citizens are LAW-ABIDING, they are less likely to be RIGHTLY persecuted by those who are OBLIGATED to maintain Law & Order in the society!

  • The Krazy Kiiza SHOULD BE placed in a 'mad house'; because this power glutton anarchist IS obviously insane.

Krazy Kiiza is a POWER ADDICT!

Unless this crazy citizen has power, HE WILL NOT BE PACIFIED if allow to roam freely!

  • what a shame Mr President what a shame, I think Amin was far better

  • what the hell happen? Why did they arrest him like that? Was that necessary?

  • I think a time has come for individual persons beating up innocent people to be identified in their 'police uniforms' and civilian clothes, noted down, profiled, caught up with and held personally accountable! That time is now!!

Lets not generalise, no police can do what is happening!!

  • I think a time has come for individual persons beating up innocent people to be identified in their 'police uniforms' and civilian clothes, noted down, profiled, caught up with and held personally accountable!

    That time is now!!

  • If I were Juduth's mother , I would always regret the day she was born ! She was obviously raised by a caring family that educated her. Something went terribly wrong and she lost her moral compass.

  • at times ur driven in to using f*** words when u least wish to use them.... f*** the entire government bt 1 things for sure karma is a bitch.... today its him tomorrow its kenny f****jam....and his kayihura kinship

  • While we have endured brutual violence, humiliation, lies, theft of our hard earned money (Tax), votes, land, and continue to be denied quality social services and other basic human rights and civil liberties by this autocratic regime, we will continue to pursue non violent protests until we are liberated .

Thanks for the news , video's and still pictures. We will never forget these thugs.

  • I hate it when a figitive coward chicken like MrKennyjam living in the west gets the guts to call this right....and who the heck do u call a hooligan? These r ugandans with rights and grievances that need to be addressed by the govt. Get to kno the background of the demonstrations before you open your foreign cowardly trap on ugandan issues.

  • A man who was completely innocent, offered himself as a sacrifice for the good of others, including his enemies, and became the ransom of the world. It was a perfect act.

    Mohandas Gandhi. makubuya.c

  • Playing to the cameras as usual...live by the sword, die by the sword. don't be quick to condemn govt. I live in the west and no govt tolerates rumble rousers in this world...unless it's a weak govt. There are many avenues for the opposition to address their grievances but they choose the well trodden "hooligan strategy". I guess most of you have seen how other countries deal with hooligans...

  • Africa oh Africa! I have to say it but sometimes, I feel ashamed to be African!

Are these thugs supposed agents of a government?

How does the population still keep a government like that in power huh? Someone explain to me :(

  • we were told to vote wisely...it is clearly a long chaotic and terror filled road to 2016.

  • those are members of milltary intelligence,Museveni knows that Ugandan are backing Dogs that bark and dont bite, Museveni wants the Opposition to pick up Arms because in Terrorist warfare Museveni is master in it.

If you want change, pick up arms that is how our brothers in Libya have done

  • We need to take the government and police to court ASAP!!!! No human being is worthy of this. Who the hell does the police think they are?!? How can they sleep at night?!?...I am soooooo ashamed!

  • CLEARLY, we were never prepared for MULTI-PARTYISM

  • What Is this for real? the fuck is wrong with our government? Seriously?

  • The mad dog's boys in action huh !!

  • Scumbags in police uniform and morons in military uniform and a lunatic as president . Very dangerous trio

  • Reasons that make me not proud of country .....I wish the judicial team in Uganda was like this side ....sue the govt for over 100 million ....have lost faith in my

    Country

  • Oh GOD :(

  • Comment removed

  • I mean, REAAAAALLY??

IS THIS THE BEST OUR SO CALLED GOVERNMENT CAN DO??
