I tired this, but I had problems putting the concrete or tile around the bottom of the foundation and attaching the walls to the stage.

What games do you have? If you have only the Base game that might have something to do with it. I'm not sure, but there's a chance that some of these things might be features of later games.

Before putting anything around the edges (as in a fence or anything like that) just paint the edges like you do with walls.

The hack for the catwalk can be found in Decorative.../Miscellaneous, and it looks like a pink flamingo.

The Idle Animations one is in Hobbies.../Miscellaneous. It's a painting with a guy's face on it.

The Hula Dance & More hack can be accessed by clicking on the currently selected Sim and clicking 'Hula Dance & more ...', and there's a heap of options.

i did it exactally the same as you did, and i dont have either of the sims 2 games you said to down load. i just had one problem. once i filmed it- i went to look at it and wat blurry on windows media player. how did you make it good qualatie?

You choose the quality in Camera settings, before you start filming. The stage tool comes with Open for Business as far as I know, but maybe it comes with another expansion pack that you have, which would be why you could use the tool. The H&M Pack isn't necessary to the actual technique of making this, but it's useful for decorating.

I used the smaller stairs for going off decks and stuff. There's a button for them in the stair menu.

In the Foundations panel, on the right - it should be the 4th one along. I think it's called 'Split-Level Foundation'. But you do have to have the Open for Business expansion pack.

i tried making a foundation inside a room or house, or whatever, but it said that the walls were too close and couldnt touch it. do you know why?

You can't use foundation - you have to use the Stage tool. Foundation can't be put next to walls, because it's meant to just be used as foundation or decking, but the stage tool is meant to be used for stages. I think it's called 'Split Level Foundation' in Build Mode, and it should be on the far right of the panel when you choose Foundations.

Have you seen the original video I'm referring to? They walk like models in that one because I had a hack that allowed me to choose that walk. If you look at the links in the description, the top link has a hack that allows your Sims to walk like models. And this tutorial was about building a fashion runway and the basics of using it - all the fancy bits are up to you to do.
