Ok, they had some problems at 2005 version, but afterwards they retaliated with... truth!

Im Czech, 2005 was war, 2006 was legal, but it seems it could be last... because organizators and ppl here think Freetekno isnt about getting some legal spot from army and politics, this could end badly, like the majority of dance scene ended. Maybee there will be big number of smaller parties on ,,not so legal,, places... this Cztk (2006) was partly realized just because we wanted to show that police brutality doesnt have chance to stop the party...! Keep raving!!

Why not keep it free... but legal?

The only thing needed is the permission from the landowner.

i think the idea was not to comercialize it. to get a permission you have to pay, which means people who come at the party have to pay too. but czechtek is meant to be "do it yourself"/punky kind of thing, where the technos create their own rules. it sure had it's consequences.
