It is a jazzed up version of the theme to the movie Crimson Tide. (With Denzel??) This particular recording is by Nightwish. Awesome, huh? They are a band from, um, maybe Norway. I can't remember. They are a metal thing like Transiberian Orchestra.

I can say it because it's the truth. 1941 they claim a national championship although they were 9-2 and ranked #20 in the polls. claim 1964 but lost in the bowl game. claim 1973 though lost to the real national champion notre dame in the bowl game. shall I go on?

i just have to say, bowl games were virtually irrelevent at that time. National Championships were awarded before bowl games were played.
